We had a wonderful stay at Edgewater escape. It is perfectly located next to Culbertson Hills golf club and right on the water. The house is beautifully appointed and updated with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Wonderful space for a family vacation

The house is beautiful. The decor is gorgeous. It was SO much cozier than staying in a hotel, and its located near several restaurants and right on the lake. You couldnt ask for a better spot.

Edgewater Escape, an excellent place to stay! Staying at this location was an awesome experience, you can tell the owners took the time to think about the smallest details to make your trip comfortable. The home is beautifully decorated. The scenery and easy access to great locations in Edinboro was great. Meeting the owners was absolutely a bonus! My family and I created great memories and hope to return.

Upon arriving, Gina the owner, was extremely welcoming and helpful during the check in process. It was a niced touch to meet her so she could explain everything, as I respect and do the same at my own home. The home and property is truly something out of a magazine, and most likely is in one. From the most beautiful landscaping to the lake side fire pit, to the most amazing french cottage like inside, it's something our families are looking forward to staying in next year.We thank you for being a superior host with such a gorgeous property. Our children found a love for kayaking and they requested to come back again!

Best rental experience ever

To say this property is beautiful is an understatement, every inch of the home and grounds is thoughtfully curated. Gina is a wonderful host, she goes above and beyond to help with any recommendations or concerns, she will even meet you at the property when you check in to go over everything which is beyond helpful. We utilized the kayaks and swam in the river and had a bonfire each night - they stocked us with plenty of firewood! The house was meticulously clean and tidy, not a speck of dust anywhere, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. Edinboro has lots to do and we visited Gina’s store in town which was wonderful! I cannot recommend this place enough! Things to keep in mind when booking: there is only one bedroom on the main floor so there are stairs involved to get to the other three and there are only two bathrooms, one on the main and one on the upper level, these things weren’t issues but with a range of ages in our group we had to place people in bedrooms accordingly. We will absolutely be back to this little escape! Thank you so much Gina!

Beautiful Cottage and great access to the Lake. Perfect for our family of 6. Good location for day trip to Lake Erie and also walkable to cute, area shops downtown. Rooms were beautifully decorated. Outdoor firepit and kayaks were a hit!

My husband is a native of Erie, and I am from Ohio originally. When it came to relocating back to the area, we fell in love with Edinboro lake and decided to make this home. We renovated a cottage on the lake, downsized our life ( not easy, but the best thing we’ve ever done!) and officially called Edinboro home. I have spent my career in retail, and decided it was time to semi-retire, so we also renovated a historical building in town, where we now own and operate a vintage home decor shop. A dream come true! Once the shop was up and running, of course I couldn’t sit still, so we took on our final project…Edgewater Escape in 2021. It’s been a long hard journey, but we are thrilled to finally be offering it to you as a home away from home for all your vacation needs!

This premier property has long been a favorite of locals and visitors alike. It is located in the heart of Edinboro, tucked away on the bank of the Edinboro Lake outlet. It’s unique location, together with the charm of the existing cottage, has made the opportunity to turn this into a vacation home for all to enjoy, very exciting! The layout of this cottage is spacious but cozy. The wrap around deck and the views of the water are beautiful and peaceful….truly a unique place to be! We have been honored to lovingly renovate and decorate this home in a manner that is truly something special. We hope you feel the same!
