It was close to Glacier National Park which is perfect if you want to explore there. Beautiful home and piece of property, I absolutely loved watching all the animals show up in the yard. It was just all around perfect!

Thanks for the great review. I appreciate how clean and tidy you left the house and how well you took care of my house. I would love to have you as a renter, if you ever come to the valley again.
We wanted a centrally located place in order to explore the Flathead Valley after spending 4 days hiking in Glacier NP. This is a spacious modern cabin in a quiet, wooded area. Whitefish and Kalispell are a short drive for lots of restaurants. Hiking abounds in any direction. The host has thought of every detail to make this cabin welcoming and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the huckleberry muffins!

Thanks Howard! It was a pleasure to host you on your travels! Hope to see you again!
My wife and I could not have been more pleased with our stay. The accommodations, cleanliness, beauty, privacy, and host’s kindness are beyond exceptional. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and the location is within short driving distance of any place you’d like to visit in your stay. West Glacier’s entrance is within short driving distance and your close enough to grocery stores and gas stations before you make your way to the park. 5 STARS.

This home is just as pictured and described. Very clean, well stocked, lots of extras. Very comfortable. Saw Turkey and deer in backyard every morning. Nice patio in back for dining or relaxing evening. Beds and pillows comfortable. Nice huge fluffy towels. Great location for visiting the Park, Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls. Great communication with owner. Cannot think of a single negative thing. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Thanks for your gracious review! I’m so happy you had a nice stay and enjoyed your time in the Flathead. Hope you come again.
Property description was accurate!! The place was so beautifully furnished, very welcoming and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The property was conveniently located to Glacier National Park, Whitefish, and Flathead Lake. We lacked for nothing due to the host’s intentional planning and preparation . Shannon had a welcome gift of Montana treats waiting for us and even bought a set of dominoes for us. Her communication was great and she answered any questions in a timely manner. We could not have asked for a better experience! Thanks again !

Thanks for your gracious review! I’m so happy you enjoyed your time at my place. I need to look up how to play the domino game. It sounds interesting. If you ever have the opportunity to return, I would love to host you again.
Safe travels.
My wife and I stayed at Shannon’s property for 9 days while working remotely and exploring Flathead Valley (including Glacier National Park). We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The house itself is beautiful and very well located. It’s a short drive north to Whitefish where you will find city beach, Whitefish Resort, hiking trails around town and plenty of great dinner/bar options. A short drive in the other direction takes you to bigger chain shopping in Kalispell which makes stocking up or finding a quick meal easy. Accessing the west entrance of GNP is also an easy trip and we visited for 2 days during our stay. The house has plenty of space and a nice backyard. It’s well stocked with everything we needed. Check-in was seamless and Shannon/Greg are great hosts and very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Our family of five had a perfect stay at this beautiful vacation rental in Kalispel. This home is extremely well stocked and I truly didn't need any supplies of my own besides food. We loved the privacy of this home and yard. There were turkeys and deer in the yard and forest surrounding the home daily. There were even about 6 or 7 baby turkeys one morning. Shannon was wonderful and gracious as a host. I even set off the alarm system by accident (again sorry about that Shannon) and she was kind and efficient in dealing with my mistake. I would without a doubt choose to stay here again in the future. If your commuting to Glacier the distance is worth it for the spaciousness, comfort, and privacy of this gorgeous home. We absolutely loved it! Strong 5 stars and then some❤️

Thanks for the amazing review. I’m glad you had a great stay and got to see all the animals in the neighborhood I appreciate all the extra you did before you left and don’t fret the alarm! It was easily taken care of 😊. Hope to have you stay at my house again if you ever come back this way. Safe travels!
The entire stay felt like home, anything we could have needed was there. From staples in the pantry to appliances for everything to shampoo/conditioner in the showers. We were warmly welcomed with a basket of local goodies from the homeowners, along with a personalized note. The instruction and things to do binder at the house were comprehensive. The house was immaculately clean and, as noted, well stocked. It seems trivial but there were things like...paper towels, storage baggies, coffee (in the basket), garbage bags. I don't know another way to say than it felt like home with all of the creature comforts. The hosts were thoughtful and kind. Appliances and cooking utensils weren't all of the old that someone couldn't decide whether to donate or take to the 'cabin'. Nothing but positives things to say based on the positve experience we had.

About the host
Hosted by Shannon
I am a retired school teacher who has lived in Montana my whole life. I love being in the outdoors during every season. We ski and snowshoe in the winter and hike and explore in the warmer parts of the year. I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
I love the location of my property. It allows such easy access to all parts of the Flathead. You will be about 15 minutes from Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Kalispell. Whitefish Mountain Resort, Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park are about 30 minutes away. It truly is very centrally located.
What makes this property unique
Even though there are 11 houses sharing a lane, the 5 acres surrounding the house are filled with trees and make you feel like you are in your own private forest.
