Looking to experience the pristine beaches and rich history of the seaside Isle of Palms community? Dolphin Run is a second floor duplex cottage house gives an authentic island experience.

Conveniently located by historic Breach Inlet and across the street from the Boathouse, a top-rated dining experience with 360-degree views of the ocean and the intracoastal waterway from its rooftop bar. Sunrise. Sunset. Ships setting sail from the harbor. This is a must see for visitors and locals! Just steps aways from the beach, easily accessible at Beach Access 2, Dolphin Run cottage has everything you need for a relaxing experience.

One of the first-built homes on the Island , your retreat awaits just steps from pristine beaches, marine life, top-rated restaurants, and more. Spend your days paddle boarding, crabbing, fishing, kayaking, or walking the seven miles of crystalline beaches.

Dolphin Run cottage elegantly marries the homes original character with a stunning vintage interior aesthetic for guests to stay and enjoy everything the barrier islands (IOP and Sullivans), Mt Pleasant, and Charleston have to offer – including top-rated dining experiences and specialty cocktails.

Enjoy mornings in the sunroom with cozy seating and plenty of room to curl up with a book or enjoy your morning coffee and a freshly made croissant from locally owned Café Paname (just blocks away). Catch the ocean breezes on the covered back deck – another feature area to unwind and relax before or after a day at the beach.

The upstairs dwelling, with private front entrance, features plenty of room for gathering in the large kitchen, dining area, living room, and sunroom. The master bedroom and on suite bath are perfectly situated in the front with stunning natural light and walk-in closet with a full-size washer and dryer. There are three additional bedrooms, one queen bed and one twin bed. The sunroom doubles as a large functional bedroom with a twin daybed and twin trundle.

The location is nothing short of amazing! Private and peaceful with a wide, beautiful beach to experience gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, watch ships sail from the harbor, enjoy tidal pools, and look across to Sullivan’s Island.

Between the two ends of the natural shoreline is a family-friendly seaside community that offers a range of activities (water sports, golfing, boat tours, and fishing charters), plus stunning white sands. Visit the IOP County Park at the center for beach chairs, bikes, boogie boards, or shopping at the beach sundries. You will also find a variety of local eats with grab-and-go options and indoor/outdoor dining experience.

Local tip! Arrange a trip out on the water to fish or experience an eco-tour of the barrier islands (IOP attracts turtles during egg laying season). Once the sun goes down, venture down to the Windjammer beach club with live music and drink specials perfect for after-sunset entertainment.

A GEM of a beach house set by the seaside !
I would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting Isle of Palms. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The house itself is very spacious. I was able to work from the house during the workdays because there was plenty of room for our family to spread out. We loved the “treehouse” which is the covered in porch nestled in the trees. You can hear the waves breaking and it was very peaceful. The kitchen was fully stocked with any type of cooking equipment one might need. My wife loved soaking in the Antique clawfoot bathtub every night. The neighborhood itself was very quite which made us feel very comfortable with letting our children play and explore. Quick bike ride to Isle of Palms “downtown” where you can listen to live music almost any day of the week. The management of the property was VERY prompt on any requests or questions we had and was very professional. We will defiantly be returning to rent this home again next year! This property is a gem

Great cottage close to beach
This top floor duplex property had all we needed for our combo beach getaway/ C of C visit. Location is great for morning walks to watch the dolphins and quick access to Sullivans or IOP beaches and shops/restaurants. Comfortable beds, linens and sofas with lots of dining space. The designer has a really great eye for cozy vintage finds!

Isle of Palms vacationer
The cozy duplex cottage was very close to the amazing Isle of Palms beach. We had access to the top floor of the duplex with a separate entrance and front yard as well as a screened in porch. The owner provided great beach chairs, towels, etc. The property manager was very responsive. I loved the ceiling fans. We had plenty of room. The house stayed cool during the hot summer days and nights. The area was nice and quiet. The beach mainly had families visiting. We loved being practically across the street from the inlet restaurant , The Boathouse. We could walk there. We loved staying at the Isle of Palms beach!
