One of the cottages at Mauna Olu is located in a gated community with 24 hours security.

This home away from home has a lot to offer with beautiful beaches, local snorkeling, and eateries all within a 10-minute drive.



QUIET TIME:

This is in a gated residential community, please be mindful of our neighbors, no parties, no events, or large gatherings, HOA requires quiet hours 9:00 pm - 8:00 am.



PARKING:

Driveway parking. No parking allowed on the street and road.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home except for a few closets, and cabinets that we have locked.

The house was good for our family of 6! The en suite bathroom however is in the bedroom with 2 queen beds not the king bedroom. Host was responsive and even brought us a bbq which the property did not have upon arrival. Pool area was lovely. Beach 5 minutes away was great!

Stay was amazing! Clean, relaxing, gorgeous views, safe neighborhood, excellent pool. House was well stocked! Even had coffee and supplies, dish washer soap and washing detergent so we didn’t have to buy any while on vacation! Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking tools. It had plenty of beach stuff including chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear, towels, and more! While it was kind of off the beaten path the local beaches where great and we saw loads of local animals, helps, peacocks, boar, and more! Would totally recommend this stay!!

Our family of five adults and one infant truly enjoyed our stay! The house is lovely, well-appointed, clean, secure, and comfortable. The views of the mountains are spectacular, and you can see the ocean in the distance. On our last night, the full moon lit a glowing path across the water. I will say that there are tent encampments along the shoreline nearest the property, so we were not confident in visiting the local beaches. That meant we had to drive a bit to some of the points of interest, but the scenery along the way could not be more beautiful! We would happily stay here again.

Beds are super comfortable. Living room furniture was uncomfortable and the 4 animal hide chairs shed and made you itchy. Had to put towels over them before sitting on them. The kitchen was fully stocked which was very nice. Thank you. Downside was that the landscaping front and back was not done yet. However, it rained heavily on one of the days we were there and the view of the Makaha Mountain was majestic with 15 waterfalls flowing off the mountain visible from the back of the house!

Memorable family time!

The location is fantastic! Close enough to the airport and shopping centers yet far enough so that you are more secluded in a gated community where you feel safe clean and it’s beautiful mountains and ocean views. I’ve never been to a place so clean and well kept. The staff replied quickly to all my requests. I will say the only cons which I wouldn’t even consider cons still giving it. A 5 star would be night stands by the beds are really tiny so it’s hard to charge and put anything down next to your bed, there are no dressers or drawers, and CON The living room seating area is limited, the furry chairs are super uncomfortable. We found blankets that we were able to cover to use them. And it’s also a little bit uneasy because the couch is white and all of the dining room chairs are white pillows, which makes eating at the table with the family pretty precarious. We wanted to make a big pot of soup, but there is no big pots several big pans. Pros! So many cool amenities from pool table, beautiful outdoor seating areas, body boards, lounge, chairs, for the beach and umbrella, snorkel gear, even water shoes! Thank you for a beautiful stay!
