Galloway Cottage- Bikes and fire pit

Keeping it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located hidden gem cottage. As our guests you will experience a quiet get-away with full amenities and adventure just steps away. Equipped with a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, washer & dryer, queen bed upstairs, and fold-out couch downstairs. Enjoy a book under the covered front porch, play a game of corn hole, relax in the hammock, or hop on one of the bicycles provided with rental to explore miles of Greenway trails or just enjoy a evening by the firepit. Pet friendly and perfect for walks and enjoying the Ozarks with many trails nearby.
Open floor plan downstairs includes the living room, kitchen, and private bathroom. a comfortable bar for dining, TV and large futon for seating or additional sleeping area. Beamed ceiling on the ground floor is only 6 foot 3 inches tall, so tall people be aware.

Fully equipped kitchen includes stove, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and other items.

Private upstairs bedroom includes queen size bed, dresser, large closet. Additional seating and separate workspace.

Bathroom has vanity with a large mirror and walk-in shower.
Guest access
Guests have whole house access to all amenities including games, bikes, and a comfortable hammock.
Other things to note
Neighborhood is safe and quiet. Within walking and biking distance to many restaurants including Galloway Station, The Rock, and Andy's Frozen Custard.

Clean, quaint and rustic. We called it our cabin for the weekend. A little tricky to find at night, but directions were given well and we had no problem getting there. All necessities were provided and appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioners kept the rooms at desired temps. The outdoor seating on the patio was a welcomed plus. We have two small dogs, (which were welcomed with doggy clean up bags) so having a yard for them was also a bonus! We were unsure of how to lock the door when leaving so I called Johnny and got an immediate response with friendly directions. Very nice stay for the weekend!

This adorable tucked away cottage was perfect for my 2 night Springfield stay. The kitchen had everything I needed to make meals, the living room was comfortable with lamps for evening reading. Upstairs bedroom was roomy and the bed comfortable. There are many thoughtful touches - lighting in convenient spots, handy spaces to put personal things, assorted coffees. And I loved sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds. Overall a delightful place to stay. I’d definitely stay again!

This cozy cottage was exactly what I needed for my short stay in Springfield. The cottage is quite spacious, comfortable, and quiet. It was fairly rainy during my stay so I didn't get to use the bikes or fire pit, but it was nice to have them available! I highly recommend this place.

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have stayed here and loved it even more! It’s quiet, cozy, and secluded. We walked to the Galloway Grill this time around, and fell in love. They have the best chili cheese nachos (you need to try)!!! We also went to the aquarium of course, and the big bass pro. Our favorites. We also recommend Gaileys! Join the waitlist beforehand, thank me later. It sadly rained most of the weekend but we made the most out of it. Definitely a hidden gem!

Me and my sister came out to Springfield from Muskogee to see Bucees, and this was the coziest place ever! The owners were super helpful and friendly!

We both grew up within 20 minutes of Springfield area. We married out of high school in 1988, raised 2 beautiful daughters that have blessed our family with 2 son in laws and 2 beautiful grandchildren. Johnny retired from a long career with Springfield City Utilities and now has a successful career in real estate. Robyn spent an amazing 25 year career as RN, in School Nursing. Now we love sharing our experiences, stories and our Air BNB’s with families so they can make memories too.

Galloway area is close to anything a guest would need for a fun relaxing stay. The area is safe and quiet with a serene atmosphere .

What makes this property unique

The property is unique little cottage that is nestled in a very safe neighborhood, we allow families to bring their fur babies, it’s located within a five minute drive of any thing you would need to make your stay memorable. Bonus, it has a cottage in the Woods atmosphere and our guest love seeing the wildlife that happen by for a visit too.
