Located on Old Military Rd, near the Olympic Ski Jumps and the Horse Show Grounds, you are 3-4 minutes from downtown Lake Placid and ten miles from Whiteface Mountain. Golfing, tennis, hiking, water sports, skiing, and fishing are nearby. Balsams is brimming with inviting Adirondack ambience. Two floors of living space, plus a basement can comfortably accommodate 8 people. This luxury townhouse includes hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, granite countertops, stone fireplace (available for use in the winter only), and radiant heated tiled bathroom floors. French doors lead to the rustic outdoor deck. Expansive double wide windows bring the natural outdoor setting indoors. After a day of enjoying the many activities available in the heart of the Adirondacks, eat in the fully equipped kitchen, or snuggle next to the gas stone fireplace in the winter. Wireless Internet available throughout townhouse.
The dining table seats 6 guests. There are two barstools located at the kitchen breakfast bar.
Note: The garage is not available for guest use. Parking is available for 2 cars, one in the unit's parking space, and one is allowed in the overflow parking area.

A great place!

This is a lovely townhome just outside the village. It's a short drive (<10 min) into town and to Whiteface (<20 min). The size and layout of the home easily accommodates 2 families. There is a nice charm to the log-cabin decor and the kitchen is plenty big enough to prepare a full meal.
