Well worn and dated...been staying here for years at less than 1/3 the price i just paid through Stowe Country Homes. Dinky little TV...completely unusable patio AND without furniture. No ice in freezer. The lighting needs updating to LED's as they are very dim thru out. Needs total makeover and furniture is 25 years old...same stuff since I started coming here. Not at all what one should expect for 400/ night. Yes I feel totally taken advantage of!!!!!

If you are looking for a place that is clean and comfortable then this is the place. If you’re looking for a fancy place then look somewhere else. My friend and I had a great time. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace was so nice in the morning with a cup of coffee. The location was wonderful and close to town and anywhere we wanted to go. The pool was nice and the puzzle in the reception area made one of our cold and wet days fun.

Comfortable Get-Away

The property was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed. Would have appreciated a map to the trash/recycling, but a short walk around and we found it just fine. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean, Quiet and Convenient

We have been staying at the Village Green for years and although this unit is pretty original the bedding was new, the king mattress was super comfortable and the unit was super clean. We would stay there again.

Would Rent Again

The unit was exactly as advertised and perfect for our ski vacation. The unit was clean and comfortable, but, as noted in other reviews, a bit spartan and showing its age. The location was convenient to the mountain and town. We would stay there again without question.

Basic - does the trick

Excellent location and some nice amenities (pool, hot tub), but mostly a super basic, bare-bones rental. Second time here for us due to the great location and spacious units. Appreciate an affordable rental option in a popular town like Stowe. Was sweltering without A/C for the first 36 hours, but made do with the large fans in the unit.

A nice location

This was a nice place to stay while enjoying fall colors. The area was level and open so we walked for exercise every morning. The 5 mile long Stowe Recreation Path was just a short distance away. Several shops and restaurants were easy walks. The drive to Stowe was 5 minutes. The unit was clean and comfortable albeit a bit spartan and was showing it age (peeling wallpaper). We would stay there again.

Disappointing stay. Arrived in January to a unit with the interior temperature below freezing, heat was off and windows were open. No real response from the other than “is the heat working?” 10 hours later the temperature was comfortable. There is a kitchen but no pans to cook with. Lastly had to pick up and return physical keys at an office in the city center of Stowe which was time consuming and cumbersome with holiday weekend traffic. Will not return.
