It is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood in the Poplar beach area, just a few steps away to downtown Half Moon Bay, beaches, restaurants, and trails.

Hike Coastal Trail and Wavecrest Open space Preserve and for a more challenging hike, check out the Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve and be thrilled with the giant redwoods,
rushing creek and understory of ferns, berries, and wildflowers.
Stroll HMB's charming downtown where you will find a variety of shops and cafes.
If you visit HMB between Feb and March, check out the Wild Mustard Fields where you will find the coast turns a brilliant deep yellow.
Horse Back Riding at the Sea Horse Ranch - beautiful guided coastal trail and beach horseback rides on Half Moon Bay's Poplar Beach. The minimum riding age is 7 years old.
Visit Seal Cove Cypress Tree Tunnel and Fitzgerald Marine Reserve at near by Moss Beach.
Visit El Granada, a nearby fishing harbor town where you can buy fresh fish off the boats every Saturday. Dine at Barbara's fish trap (local favorite) while you are there.
Check out the world-class golf at the Ritz hotel, also famous for beautiful landscapes.
Explore California Coastal Trail: Bring your bikes or visit a bike rental shop downtown HMB to rent one.

Barbara's Fishtrap: Located in El Granada (4 miles North) and is famous for fresh seafood, look for "Today's Special" on a whiteboard hanging on the wall. It's an oceanfront restaurant and has outdoor dining.
The Barn: Looking at their burger makes me feel happy. It's located on Hwy-1, and we go there for burgers and deep-fried Mac&Cheese.
Sam's Chowder House and Miramar Beach Restaurants: Both are oceanfront restaurants with great seafood dishes, always busy during the weekend.
