The private cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, honeymoon or anniversary trip. So leave your troubles behind and come make memories & enjoy a quiet, peaceful time at this retreat that is off the beaten path. Our cabin has all the amenities you need to relax and enjoy your time in the mountains. You will feel at home with the comfy bed & the kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need including coffee & a coffee pot. The living room includes a comfortable sofa & flat screen Dish tv.
Located off Edwards Road just minutes from town & restaurants. If you are planning a fun, relaxing getaway The Back Woods Cabin is the cabin for you!
The cabin has a furnace & A/C to keep you warm in the winter & cool in the summer.

This property is so beautiful and peaceful! My husband was pleasantly surprised to find a Keurig coffee machine so he could drink his favorite coffee K-cups but there is also a drip coffee maker if you prefer to use grounds.

This is the perfect rental for a romantic getaway!! Loved the firepit and the hottub. It is summer, so we didnt get to use the fireplace, but the cabin is cozy! Would love to stay again when in the area.

The cabin is amazing! We wanted private and quiet and we received that and more. We brought our rowboat and enjoyed a day of lounging in the pond. Barbecuing every night, hot tub in the evening...truly the kind of getaway I’ve been wanting for so long. We never left the property. All cooking utensils, pots, pans .. everything available. Our furr baby enjoyed the kitties and a swim in the pond. It could not have been more perfect for us. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I left this cabin in the woods with our hearts filled with such joy and peace. Pictures can not do this place justice. We did not have need of the fireplace or hot tub. Hopefully we will make a winter trip.Check-in so easy! communication with host on point, although there was no need. Everything was better than expected. The bed was comfortable and the Cabin is clean inside and out. The outside cats and kittens made our stay extra special.

This place is gorgeous! We had a relaxing 2 days. The bed is so comfy, the porch is beautiful for sitting. We enjoyed some fishing in the pond, my husband caught a nice bass. We will be back!

This was everything I dreamed of and more. So quiet& peaceful. Loved the greeting from the cats! We brought our cat so it was nice company for her. The cabin had everything we needed. Next year I'll definitely pack lighter. The jacuzzi tub,amazing & relaxing! We slept like babies in the king size bed! Here's to our new getaway !

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the cabin. Just what we needed. The cabin is rustic but modernized with all the conference. The details in decorating made us feel like we took a trip back in time. Kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. Hot tub was very nice. Surroundings around the cabin were very peaceful. We both love old log cabins & peaceful settings.
It had been a dream of ours to restore a old log cabin.
We built this cabin to rent out & share with others.
The cabin was orginally from Manhiem. We numbered the logs tore it down & moved them to this property. My husband & son built the cabin & set it back up. Every minute of spare time they had they worked on it. It took around 1 year to complete. We would love you to come & stay!

This is an wonderful place to enjoy the woods and nature. It is peaceful & secluded. It is a serene place for a restored old log cabin.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the solitude & wildlife while staying at the cabin. It is a great place to unwind! Enjoy sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch overlooking the pond. Listen to the birds, watch for the deer, in the spring listen to the peepers.
