About the host
Hosted by Esther
My husband and I are both from big Mennonite/Amish families where hospitality has been an important part of our lives. I love hosting Guests here.
Why they chose this property
This property is husband’s ancestors home and has been restored. We have created garden spaces and and we love living Across from the Tulpehocken Creek and the Union Canal Towpath Trail.
What makes this property unique
My husband is a 9th generation descendent of Nicholas Stoltzfus who emigrated to America in 1766. The stone house he bought was built in the early 1700’s and has been restored as a museum and is available for tours.
