Very nice property and people. However, this is not a two bedroom. This is an upstairs loft with two double beds and daybed downstairs in the living area.
The Old Summer House was a perfect spot for a getaway with all the comforts of home. It’s conveniently located to lots of things to see and do but away from the busyness of every day life. The farm it’s located on is beautiful and serene and the house is clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay there again if we’re in the area.
Great place to stay, very charming peaceful place to stay! Beautiful countryside views and hostess greatest us with a smile and very welcoming and attentive, will definitely stay again when in Lancaster ☺️
The house was a beautiful little cottage. It was just perfect for the three of us. The owner had quick feed back. The setting was absolutely lovely. It was very clean. We had a great time.
This was a lovely place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable. We slept well each night, and loved having the kitchen area available. This was within easy driving distance of all the things we wanted to do in the area, too. We had a wonderful time!
The property is beautiful and the host was immediately accessible. Check in and check out were easy! Attention has been paid to details that enhanced comfort during the stay.

Every thing was perfect for us. We loved the guest house. The owner was so gracious to us it was a beautiful peaceful place loved the beautiful landscape. Enjoyed meeting the owner and his 4 precious children I would definitely recommend this lovely guest house. So many unique flowers and scrubs Thank you for making my dream come true
Our son got married at the wedding venue on the property. This space was wonderful to have as we navigated the days leading up to the wedding and during. Loved the quiet mornings on the property. Flowers are beautiful. Hosts are gracious and went above and beyond. Highly recommend for a regular stay or while having a wedding event. If mobility challenged, be aware that stairs are a little steep to the upstairs bedroom. There is a first floor small bathroom and shower that can be accessed upon request and a twin bed in the main room to sleep in if needed.
We were in Lancaster Co. to visit with family and needed a place to stay so we booked a two night stay at the guest house.
It was a great experience and would highly recommend it. It is off the road a little distance on a beautiful farm and very peaceful. Thank you, Grant
A Little Bit of Heaven, A Whole Lot from Our Lord God
We had a heavenly time with our Bible Study at this tidy, exceedingly kept little piece of Heaven. Our hosts cared about us as people, not just "monetary income". They, as we do love the Lord, and are giving some of themselves back to the Lord by offering this Ole Summer House to visitors. God even gave me a special time, by "a nearby" attending to a God filled Mennonite wedding adding to the beautiful place to "get away" for a few days!
This property is beautiful and was perfect for our short weekend stay for my kids’ practices. Grant was a wonderful host who greeted me on our first day and made sure we had everything.
Communication was great! There is a wedding venue on-site but you have your own parking spot and Grant was sure to let me know there would be weddings during our stay.
There are very steep stairs up to the bedroom/bathroom. This was not a problem for us but just be aware if you have very young children or adults with difficulties climbing stairs.
Great place to stay with welcoming host and hostess. Beautiful property, well maintained inside and out. Check in and out process was easy. If you are looking for an extremely quiet place to relax, this is it. Thank you Grant for your hospitality.
Wonderfully relaxing stay in a beautiful location!
We so appreciated our time in this amazing location! The greens fields, pond, and quaint home gave us a perfect opportunity to rest and enjoy God’s creation. Thank you to Grant and family for sharing this incredible spot!
