Just across the street from the Galveston Seawall, a short nine-minute drive (2.5 miles) from the Port of Galveston Cruise Terminals, and a couple blocks from the Strand entertainment and shopping district, Coastal Cottage 8 is one of 10 studio-style condos in a convenient low-density complex. Each pet-friendly studio features a full bed; a large queen pull-out sofa; a 45-inch TV; a walk-in, glass-enclosed shower; and a kitchen equipped with all the essentials to prepare meals for your group.

Mom/Daughter trip

The size was okay for 2 people but not really anywhere to put clothes or hang towels. There was only a light over the bed and a lamp. The main living area had no lights so it wasn’t very lit up at night. The shower was scalding hot and we could not get cold water no matter what we did. There was no cold water in sinks either. Remote was dead. We bought batteries so we could at least watch tv at night. Cleaning my van took our parking spot (that we were told to use,) when we told them we needed to park there they were rude and proceeded with cleaning for about 5 more minutes before finally coming out and moving their van to all the other empty spots. There were no blankets available. There was, what looked like a beach towel, folded by couch but it smelt like vomit. We chose to go purchase our own blankets. It allowed us a place to sleep but aside from that we would probably not book here again.
