Great place. Simple kitchen fits the boathouse motif. The sounds of traffic creep in each morning, and of course some boats on weekends, but the location for us with the dock and the view are excellent, exactly what I sought, and Pam is a fine host, well-organized and responsive, We may return.
Beautiful property and the perfect location. Worked out well for 2 couples. A very peaceful part of the Whitefish Chain and a nice dock for our boat. Will definitely book again.
great little kitchen…amazing little screened in pitch with a peaceful and beautiful view! very clean and wonderful furnishings. comfortable sitting area! our ONLY downfall was the bed…little dip towards middle of mattress made it a little uncomfortable
The boathouse was amazing. My sister and I stayed there for a gateway. The view is incredible. The house was clean and had everything a guest would want. The lake is perfect for kayaking. The birding is incredible. I would highly recommend it. Oh… it has a wonderful screened in porch where we spent most of our time. The host is very responsive and knowledgeable about the area. She provided great ideas for walking trails. I would stay there again.
The boathouse was simple, yet a wonderful place to stay for a family of 3 but easily could accommodate 5. We would definitely book again in the future. The only critique is the driveway; there is a curb that odes limit the process of parking with a boat. That said, I would imagine there is nothing one could do to get rid of the curb. Thanks, you have a wonderful place. Troy
Wonderful cabin on the lake. Cozy with great view from screened in porch. Great host - everything you needed was there. Great shower and comfy bed. Kitchen well stocked. A perfect getaway close to Crosslake.
Loved the boathouse! The porch and being so close to the water are fabulous. Well-appointed, comfortable, relaxing and so convenient to everything in town. Great hosts, very responsive. Overall a wonderful stay, thank you!
It's a charming cottage right over the water, very quiet, clean and peaceful. Close to restaurants (few minutes by car) but really nice just for hanging out. Would recommend for sure!
We really enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for a girls getaway!! The location was great. We enjoyed using the kayaks We also liked the restaurant options , ice cream shop, and mini golfing in Crosslake !!
Great property! We stayed here for a wedding that was down the street, and made a little weekend out of it. The size of the property was perfect for 2 people. We loved the screened in porch and little beach area. Also was great to have the options of kayaks to use! Would love to return in the future!
Five of us stayed at the Boathouse and had a great time. The location was great. Loon Lake was an awesome spot, quiet and protected from crazy wind. We brought our boat and it was fun exploring the Whitefish Chain. The cabin is small but cozy and very well decorated and stocked. Highly recommend!
A beautiful and cozy cabin right on the lakeshore. We took advantage of cool nights to have a fire on the lakeshore under the stars. Perfect front porch for morning coffee. Great location: close to everything. Will definitely return!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Boat House. It was our first visit and the smaller size was a prefect fit for my wife and I. A typical day started with coffee overlooking the lake, daily walks, and plenty of lake time with the boat. We enjoyed the smaller lake setting and the calming sounds of loon each evening. Thank you for sharing this place with us.
