The HOA for Bay Tree Complex is renovating the community pool, which will be closed throughout April. The pool is expected to reopen in May 2026, weather permitting. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Bay Tree D11-12 is located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the Corpus Christi Ship Channel. This is a second floor condo with no elevator access. Both bedrooms are located upstairs by accessing a spiral staircase, the laundry area is located on the main floor in the bathroom off of the living room. While here you will see the large super tankers traverse the ship channel dwarfing everything along the way. We offer a very peaceful and quiet stay and still have many fun things to do. Fishing from our private pier, lounging around our Texas size pool. Barbecuing with the family. Play Tennis and Pickle ball on the new Courts. Enjoy the sunrises/sunsets, bring your camera. AND, you can see pelicans, sea turtles, dolphins and other sea birds in the Private Marina. No smoking, no pets. Parking for 2 vehicles, 1 under the carport and 1 across from the building. Boat slips for rent at an additional cost of $45.00 + tax per night. It is first come, first serve. Please request at the time of booking. Bay Tree requires a parking pass for your vehicle and wrist bands worn at the community facilities. These are issued upon check-in.

Great location, with nice views of the pass. There were restaurants within walking distance, but lack of sidewalks would make it safer to drive ( lots of golf cart rentals nearby). The spiral stair inside was very tight, but bringing luggage up was easy via the outside stair access to the upper floor. The upstairs AC struggled a bit. Overall, a nice place for our short stay.

The upstairs bedrooms the AC just wasnt enough however downstairs comfortable or even cold and upstairs hot. The smoke detectors would go off from the steam in the shower which was funny but loud 😂 . No exausted fan or it wasnt working . Thebunit needs a Super deep much dust on ac vents. I took a shower and my feet were black from walking in the kitchen without shoes.. Kitxhen utensils lacking they need to replace pots and pans .. Coffee mugs all stained and cracked on inside..LOOOVED the private decknoff the bedroom beautiful view . We had a great stay tho!

Needs updated furnishings, carpet was questionably clean due to the stains, kitchen was not stocked well...missing can opener, mixing bowls, larger pots, cups.... I booked this condo based on location alone, but on a beach vacation expected a cute decorated place as well. However seems like everything was bought used and thrown together to get it rented. Has so much potential to be a really spectacular rental..but not yet. Perfect for a guys weekend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my 2nd stay at Bay Tree in a different condo. The location is great. Close to the beach and all of the restaurants and shops. This unit has a great view of the ocean, and you can also see the fishing dock from the balcony. I have 3 children 10 and under, so the 2nd bedroom with bunk beds and a twin bed worked perfectly for them. The queen bed in the other bedroom needs to be replaced badly. It's hard and makes loud noises when you barely move. My wife and I were exhausted after 4 nights of restless sleep. There's plenty of space for a king. The carpet has a lot of stains, and the storm door pneumatic closer was also broken. If here in the summer, there's 1 thermostat downstairs. It'll get really cold down there and still be warm upstairs. A few minor renovations and this place would be top notch. Some basic essentials were provided like soap, TP, dishing washing and laundry pods, coffee filters, etc, so that was appreciated. Management was helpful when I had a question. When looking at the different available condos to book, it was the more budget friendly option with a great view of the ocean, so take all of the pros and cons into consideration and see where you're willing to compromise.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed in different condos in this resort and loved it! However, this specific condo (D11/12) was very outdated. We attempted using the oven and I’m fairly certain it doesn’t get to temperature, the carpets were disgusting, the upstairs never cooled down so my husband slept on the couch, no TV in the other bedroom which didn’t work well for my kids at night... the list continues but these were the worst. We even left a day early! We won’t ever stay in this particular condo again.
