Minutes from Monte Verde Lake, "Cinco C" is the perfect three bedroom three bathroom retreat that will leave you refreshed. Step out onto the back deck to take in the gorgeous views surrounded by trees all around and the crisp mountain air and set up the fire pit in the winter to sit around for smores with the family.

Not only does Monte Verde lake offer incredible sight seeing, but also activities like paddle boarding, canoeing, and fishing. Travel just a few more minutes down the road to get to Angel Fire resort for golfing, skiing in winter, mountain biking in the summer, pickle ball courts and a great park.
*We do recommend having 4-wheel drive in the winter or snow tires/chains as even though our driveway is plowed that will make the roads more manageable in the snow.

This home is a split level three story home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The top floor has a Master bedroom with a queen bed and full bath and another bedroom with a queen bed. The main floor contains the living room and kitchen with a wood burning fire place. The bottom floor has another bedroom with a queen bed and full bath, laundry room, and the game room with a sleeper sofa.

There is a sitting deck off of the master bedroom and a large back deck with a grill to enjoy home cooked meals and a fire pit for evening smores or with your group enjoying the night sky.

Perfect Base Camp for Angel Fire

We had a great stay! The house was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of room with three bedrooms. The full kitchen had everything we needed, and having the grill was a great bonus. It was the perfect home base for our time in Angel Fire. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Well kept, comfortable home in the pines outside Angel Fire. Fairly private with few other guests or residents in neighboring homes. Short walk to the lake. The views are not the Rockies; but it felt much more like you were in the forest and not just looking at it. Angel Fire is a resort area without much of a town. Taos and Red River and the closest true towns and are about the same time/distance either way at 45 minutes of driving. Dining options are limited in Angel Fire. The country club was a very nice facility, but we didn't make the time to visit or eat there. Taos had a lot of foot traffic and has good restaurants. Red River was not crowded and lunch at the brewery/distillery was very fun and relaxing. There are good walking trails in Angel Fire that are rated easy to medium.

Comfy mountain getaway

Nice property with all the amenities for r&r in Angel Fire. We loved the proximity to fishing and hiking and enjoyed the deck and grill nightly.

Quick weekend getaway with grandkids

This property worked perfect for our quick weekend getaway with the Houston grandkids. Easy walk through the trees to the Monte Verde lake. They enjoyed being on the deck and watching the deer, especially the cool air. We definitely will stay again

Cozy little cabin

This property was great! Perfect size for a family of four. Cozy, clean, warm and a great location. 5-7 minutes to skiing. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. Would definitely stay there again!

Angel Fire getaway

Cute cabin with close proximity to market and walking distance to the lake. The TV was difficult to figure out, but eventually we did. We would recommend this cabin to family.

Relaxing and beautiful!

I booked this cabin for my parents and they loved their stay. The house was wonderful! They enjoyed every view they never could decide which deck to sit out on. The wildlife was beautiful to see! They had a relaxing time and enjoyed fishing all around the angel fire and red river area.

Great getaway location

This place was in a beautiful location, had everything we needed, and had plenty of space for a family of 6. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board is because of the cobwebs throughout the house. My wife had to go around and knock down these webs that had both dead and living spiders. Overall it was a relaxing and fun stay. I would definitely recommend this house to any family wanting to have a great stay in the woods.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time in this beautiful cabin! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I also liked the layout of the house. My teens could watch movies downstairs while my husband and I went to bed upstairs! The cabin is near a small lake we just down the road. I love being surrounded by trees and a short drive from the town. There are small grocery stores, restaurants and shopping there. I have no cons. Hopefully, we will be back very soon!

The area is beautiful but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for being outdoors. We still got a couple short hikes in. The house was perfect for what we needed. The only downside was that it is pet friendly which I am totally fine but the bathroom rugs were covered in pet and human hair. I en

The cabin was clean and deck was great. There was plenty of room inside and the third bathroom was a plus. The cabin was very well stocked with all the essentials plus. I didn’t realize there were stairs either up or down to all the bedrooms and bathrooms. It may have been listed and my mistake if not then I would explain that in the description. We had a person with a bad back and the stairs made it difficult. We had our dogs with us and I was very grateful that the deck was fenced and gated so my little one didn’t have to be on a leash the whole time. Location to the lake is great for that morning lake walk. We felt completely at home and would definitely return.

Communication glitch

No info (Wi-Fi,etc) at property, unable to access online guide, unable to reach property manager, tv remotes did not work. Surprise walk-in (no knock, unlocked & walked in) by property care team member - property itself was fine, but communication was lacking
