Book Your Stay for Summer and enjoy the pristine warm waters and charm of the Cape Fear Coast! A perfect location just minutes to Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beaches, and if you're into kayaking or SUP explorations, you'll love Masonboro Island—the largest undisturbed barrier islands in NC. And of course historic downtown Wilmington is a must. A great home base to connect to everything our coastal town has to offer. So many great restaurants and brewery's close by. Come experience why our guest have loved staying at our cottage!
Located on one of the coolest private roads in the area! A natural haven by the intracoastal waterway in coastal Wilmington NC. The picturesque 1,680 sq. ft. home is an authentic coastal cottage situated on 1 acre surrounded by magnificent great oaks. The entire home is yours for a memorable vacation stay.
The Space:
Classic Coastal Cottage. Crisp and clean, tastefully decorated throughout with a laid back surf vibe. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful with lots of natural light!
Relax on the front porch and take in the sounds of the abundant nature, and when the wind is easterly, you'll hear the ocean waves. Upon entering the home, you'll find the living room to be spacious and comfortable. You'll enjoy watching your favorite series on the 65” Roku TV. On cooler nights, switch on the fireplace electric potbelly heater and enjoy the warm glow of the flames. The dining room is furnished with rustic antiques, restored to go with the ambience of the cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with complimentary coffee and water dispenser. The oversized master bedroom has a beautiful king size bed (our guest have made a point to tell us how comfortable the bed is), with love seat couch (with pullout bed), and TV. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed that looks out to the front lawn and is uniquely decorated. One full bathroom with shower/tube and half bathroom. Patio/laundry room: washer and dryer, and plenty of storage space. For the beach goers, we provide beach towels, 4 chairs, cooler, boogie board, and assorted beach toys.
Covered back porch has a gas grill, table and chairs and looks out into a large picket fenced in private back yard.
Located 15 min. drive to Carolina Beach, 20 min. to Wrightsville Beach, and 18 min. to historic downtown Wilmington. If you are bringing your boat, kayak or SUP we are just 6 min. to a public boat ramp.
Resource connections to island adventures: Fishing guides, kayak excursions, surfing lessons, etc.

The community dock is off limits to our guest and is monitored by security cameras.

If you are bringing your pet, please make sure you check them in under reservations. We ask that you keep pets off the couches and beds. Thank you!

This house is wonderfully relaxing, restful and was perfect for our stay. Jeff was quick to answer replies and check in/check out was so easy.
