Liberty Guest House
Keep it simple at this peaceful retreat or join in on many of the community events held in this area. Our guest house is centrally-located to Leon, Humeston, Corydon, Allerton, and Lineville. There are also public hunting grounds just 1 mile south. There are 2 bedrooms, kitchen/dining area, bathroom, living, and utility room with a washer and dryer. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and closet, bedroom 2 has a full size bed, and there is a futon and twin pull out in the living area. The house is on a 2 acre lot with our house next door so the yard space is shared (no fence separating).

Nice little place in a country setting. Suited our needs perfectly. Great location for our group, very close to our hunting areas. Owner was very nice and accommodating.
We stayed while visiting family in rural Iowa. There are not many options in this area but Sammi's place was about perfect. It was clean nicely appointed and convenient to Corydon, where we were visiting. It was very quiet. While her family home is on the same property, it never seemed weird, we still felt like we had our own space. Would definitely stay again. If I were to offer any suggestions it would be lamps in the bedrooms and maybe a floor lamp in the living room to have some more indirect lighting. Also, the addition of some cards, or games might be nice touches.
