This fabulous location can't be beat! Sit on the best beach in Kelowna and easily stroll to downtown. And now that the home has been newly renovated there isn't a finer home in Kelowna to spend your vacation.
Enjoy the large, private sand beach on Okanagan Lake just north of the marina and Wildlife Sanctuary. You and your family will love this! The level lot is safe for kids and seniors. It's rock-free and has shallow water which warms up nicely in our bay.
Calling all nature lovers! We are right next to a wildlife sanctuary, so you can sit on the deck and watch the ospreys, ducks, otters and even deer meander by. This also begins the lovely waterfront boardwalk to downtown. Walk, roller blade or bike to free outdoor concerts, shops and restaurants.
It cannot be stressed enough how special this location is. We are the first house on the first private beach just north of downtown in the Cultural District. We border the wildlife sanctuary and have our own private beach and lake access. Our outdoor toy chest has sand toys, beach balls, bubble makers, beach balls and badminton.
Relax in our tastefully decorated vacation home with expansive windows to take in the view. BBQ and play on our spacious deck and lawn. Our modern kitchen has all the conveniences you need to cook, entertain or revel. The dining table seats eight and the breakfast bar seats four. Outdoor dining is our specialty. Eat in shade or sunlight as you watch the yacht races, then the sunset.
All four bedrooms have queen beds and one has an extra single mattress if needed.
The expansive sundeck wraps around the entire width of the property with 2 sets of patio doors to the great room and another patio door to the master bedroom. However, you may want to end the day at the water's edge watching the sun go down.

The beach house is in a great location, the living room/kitchen and outdoor space are all amazing. There are four comfy beds and two full baths that make this place easy to share. If I visit Kelowna again this would be my first option!

It was a pleasure to have you and your colleagues stay with us.
It will be hard, if not impossible to find a nicer location for a stay in Kelowna. If you are looking for beach, beautiful sunsets over the lake, walks along the boardwalk, quick hikes/biking up Knox Mountain and a family of deer as your neighbors, look no further. Peace and tranquility abound!
Both Judith and her property manager have been a pleasure to deal with and I hope I am able to rent this house again sometime in the not so distant future. Highly recommended.

Great Family Vacation
My husband, our two young children (4 and 2), my mother-in-law, and our older Aunt (visiting from the UK) stayed for two weeks in September 2015; prior to the renovation. Without the renovations we all enjoyed ourselves. The kids loved the beach and water. There was lots of beach toys, bikes, wagons, and even a kayak. We spent all day most days in the backyard on the beach - the shallow water was great for younger children. The kids loved watching the deer run across the back during breakfast, and making s'mores after the sun went down over the fire pit. We loved the convenience of having the beach in the backyard. So private! The rooms were spacious and everyone had enough room to move. We were close enough to downtown that my husband and I could sneak away for dinner - everything was walking distance. The only improvements I would comment on was the state of the floors and bathrooms, however that appears to have been resolved; and since the home is right beside the bird sanctuary the beach could have used a good rake. We have plans to return again. The owner was also great to communicate with and very accommodating.

I'm glad you enjoyed your time at the Beach House. We look forward to your return. I think you'll like the renovation including the big kitchen picture window that allows for great deer viewing.
We were in town for a family wedding and lucked out finding this beautiful beach house. It was close to everything and was the perfect place to relax with family. The toys and games available for the kids made it easy to keep them entertained. Would definitely come back!
We really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. We travelled with our two small children, 5 and 7. They really enjoyed playing on the large beach and swimming in the private waterfront area. The house was nicely updated and had everything we needed. The view was amazing. We liked that it was so close to the boardwalk and Marina. We also really enjoyed watching the different wildlife show up everyday. We would definitely stay here again.
The house is perfect for a family or small group. Has a very large living room/kitchen/dining area that opens onto a big deck right on the beach. The stay was great and exceeded our expectations.
This place is not only a great location, but it had everything we could ask for, being a family of 4. We have 2 kids, one is 3 and one is 1. The kids played on the beach for hours at a time with several beach toys. Did I mention that we saw a deer strolling on the beach in front of us nearly every day?! So beautiful. Both Kim and Judy were great communicators and were there to answer any questions that came up. We will be booking again next year!
Judith and Kim were absolutely amazing to deal with. The home was nice and clean, perfect location and walking distance to all download attractions, lots to take in and do. The only disappointment was the beach area, lots of duck droppings and not swimmable but great for paddle boards, canoes or kayaks. You could walk out past the point to swim but not ideal with small children. The sand area was great and lots of room to play.
Location was perfect for enjoying walks into town and exploring the valley. We thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife and beautiful sunsets. Would definitely stay here again when coming back to Kelowna.
Great location for relaxing and the sights. We had a Large private beach and a Grassy area for playing games. We had two young kids with us and there weren’t as many toys as advertised and wished we had brought more from home. The water in the bay has a lot of seaweed so not pleasant to swim but was great for floaties and for taking out the kayak. The house was lovely with a nice big kitchen where we had most meals. There are lots of creaks And sound transfer in the house so if it’s a big group with different Wake/sleep times I suggest earplugs. We would have booked for next year immediately of weekly rentals were still allowed. Great trip and worth the $$
House is beautiful and in perfect location. We all enjoyed only we were not lucky because of the weather,.The smock from Washington was not pleasant but it have nothing to do with the renting the beautiful house .
Only one think what I was missing it’s king bed instead queen bed we are toll people and queen bed was to small for us .
Overall we love it and we will come back.
Amazing property, beautiful beach perfect for adults and children of all ages. Close to everything while still quiet.
Kim the property manager was wonderful, very responsive and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was everything we hoped it would be.
We had such a lovely week. Space for everyone and such a gorgeous view- which I am already missing!
The location is perfect too, we all enjoyed walking into downtown down the boardwalk. Just wish we could have stayed longer:)
Our group of five enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this spot.
The house was perfectly set up with all the amenities. It is exactly as described. The beach was lovely and it was incredible to see all the birds from the bird sanctuary next door.
The owner and property manager were extremely responsive to any concerns.
The only negative was the group of “party animals” partying next door using foul language and yelling till 2 am. This occurred on 3 nights after the parents had left for the week.
Regrettably, we did not say anything to the property manager. He mentioned he would have dealt with it right away had we let him know.
I trust he would have managed the situation and in hindsight we wish we had said something. That is the only reason we rated neighbourhood a 4 instead of 5.
This is a gorgeous property on the lake and near downtown Kelowna, right beside a nature preserve and with a private beach. The house is a little older but well cared for, with lovely furniture in the great room overlooking the lake. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there, plus games and books.
The main draw for us was the privacy and ability to spend our time on the water and reading beachside, and it did not disappoint. Being an easy 15 minute walk to the ice cream shops and restaurants downtown was fabulous. Look forward to being able to return!
Just a nice smooth experience. Lots of useful and timely communication We will return if possible. Can’t say enough good things. Special praise for Kim the property manager.
Location was wonderful. Located next to a wildlife sanctuary we saw deer in the yard everyday, watched osprey feeding their young baby ducklings and even an otter. Beach was perfect for two youngsters- sandy, large and very private. House was comfortable and had all the amenities. The house sump pump was very loud but thy undertook measures to fix while we were still there so quite sure the issue will be resolved Overall very lovely holiday
Judith was very lovely to deal with, and we had an amazing stay. The house is very close to all amenities and a waterfront walk.
We watched a deer every morning feeding beside the house and even watched a turtle lay her eggs in front of the property on the beach!!
The property is very well located, in a quiet block but close to everything you could need. The private beach and easy access to walking trails can’t be beat. The house was clean and had all the essentials for a very relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!
This property was perfect for our family Christmas. The home is well-equipped with a big spacious kitchen and great room. Thank you for a great stay.

I am an optometrist, who lives and works in the Lower Mainland of BC. My daughter and I enjoy exploring places and savouring our time at the Beach House.
Why they chose this property
After moving from Waterloo, Ontario, to BC, in 1985, our family fell in love with Kelowna. And who wouldn't? A beautiful clean lake, wine country, awesome hiking/biking, great ski resorts and a vibrant cultural district lured us.
In 1997, when we came to buy, our realtor let us in on a secret. The beach he lived on was the best in the area...sure, we said...But he was right. After visiting numerous, rocky, pebbly, marshy waterfront areas, we fell in love with Manhattan Point beach. When the first house on the beach, right next to the green space came available, our dreams were answered.
Since then we have been enjoying The Beach House ourselves, a little bit, and sharing it with select visitors from around the world a lot!
The indoor renovation of 2016 opened up the great room, expanded the view of the wildlife sanctuary, and gave us a gorgeous chef's kitchen. With the addition of new beds the house is ready for the most discriminating guests.
What makes this property unique
When I'm lucky enough to be staying at the beach house, I love to have breakfast on the deck while watching the wildlife in the green space next door. Then a power walk along the boardwalk takes me to my favourite tea bar where I people watch for a short time.
The day may include boating, wine tasting, and definitely swimming. After pursuing our various individual activities for the day, we all come together for dinner. We may eat in the sun or put the table under the shade tree. My favourite night is Wednesday because that is Regatta night and we watch the spinnakers fly as we dine.
I prefer to be at the water's edge when the sun goes down. If I stay there until it darkens a bit I can make out the beaver swim by on his way to the creek.
