PRIME LOCATION 10 minutes to downtown Louisville. Super close to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shopping in Clarksville, Jeffersonville, and New Albany, also right by the major freeway.

* Swim Spa Hot Tub: At 14 feet by 8 feet, this is twice the size of most hot tubs! One end of the hot tub is 4 feet deep, allowing you to float or swim. It has powerful jets for swimming or relaxing.

Ample outdoor seating for gathering: 6 seat dining table on the deck, 8 seat sectional under the gazebo, 4 stools with bar attached to the hot tub.

This family friendly neighborhood is quiet and secluded, yet minutes away from major shopping and dining. The neighbors are very friendly and take care of their homes.

There are 2 parking spots in the garage, 2-4 in front of the garage in the driveway, and open street parking in front of the home. There are sidewalks and you could bike to a large number of shops

IMPORTANT HOUSE RULE: Our home has quiet hours from 10PM-7AM. This means you must be inside the home by 10pm. If you do not want to comply with this rule, please do not book this property.

Noise monitor: We use a noise monitoring device; It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). We want to be respectful of our neighbors so we will be made aware if the noise level is too high past quiet hours. Thank you!

Hazelwood Hideway is great for groups!

Perfect size home for meeting friends to watch the 2024 Citrus Bowl. Extra clean, large rooms for gatherings, great backyard, many restaurant choices nearby.

4 nights exploring Louisville

The overall stay was good. A few things were broken ( the fridge/ freezer handles falling off in your hand, half of the jets on the hot tub not functioning) and the milky way wrapper floating in the hot tub kept it from being a perfect rating.

The house was great we were in the area for the NAILE and I had heard bad things about staying in Louisville so we looked outside that area. This house was perfect. Close to good food and in a quiet neighborhood

Super close to Louisville! Backyard every bit amazing as pictures. Lots of nice touches in the house to make it inviting and also family friendly. We didn’t need as it was a couples retreat but there was crib, high chair, and baby gate. Kitchen had what we needed. Overall a quality stay

Great location and space

I was in town for a wedding and the location was excellent. I was 15 minutes from the venue and close to other places we visited. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen, dining room and living room upstairs was a nice open space to eat and hang out with each other. The games in the basement and extra living room provided lots of distraction for a 3-year old. Because of the snow, we did not get a chance to enjoy the backyard, but it is a nice and roomy backyard. I would stay here again when I'm visiting. Wesley was super responsive to questions during my stay.

Perfect Stay

We were a group of 6 adults. My husband and I, with our adult children and spouses. We had a great stay for a long weekend. The back yard with the enormous hot tub and gazebo area were better than expected. It was close to the distilleries downtown and we were surprised to have warm enough weather to take a pontoon boat out on the river for Sunday afternoon. The house amenities, shampoo, soap, paper products were added bonuses. The beds and pillows were comfortable and set up of the house worked well for our group. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay with room for improvements

The property was generally good for us. Loved the generous Keurig supplies and we3 used every K Cup. Needed to help have our coffee and stay warm as we had difficulty mastering the thermostat in order to raise the temp. Some things need change, 1, The showers need grab bars installed-protect yourself from potential liability 2. Some raised areas of carpet in hallways and bedrooms are a trip hazard 3. The stairwell is missing a handrail on one of the levels. Lastly I missed the explanation of the code for checking and it took us until 4:30 to get it sorted out, At 82 I am not the most experienced text message user, We had my Grandson his wife and 3 Great Grandkids on the lower level, I shared the one bathroom on the upper level with myself (male) and four other women, We would stay here again thanks for having us, The day the garbage men came I tipped the open cans over and let the rain out,

Place was great. My only complaint was needing to be inside before 10pm. I missed that in the listing if it’s in there. I was there with my daughters and grandchildren. We are night owls so it was disappointing to not be able to chill outside under the full moon at night. We never got an opportunity to use the fire pit. The only other complaint was the cookware. Cooking breakfast was challenging with those pans. Other than that the house was great, the hot tub was great and we had a great time.

Multigenerational Vacation

The house was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to gather. The backyard was the main draw for us and it did not disappoint! We spent most of our time hanging out in the swim spa and on the patio. There were tons of stores and restaurants near by and it was just a short drive into Louisville. Wesley and Sarah were super responsive. They checked on us often and always responded to our questions within 15 minutes. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others! Thanks for the great week!

Cleanly, friendly, close to everything

My family chose this home because of its location, price, and amenities. As grandparents we wanted to treat our grandkids to a trip to Mammoth Caves and the Ark Encounter. We looked at homes that met our needs in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky - they were either too expensive or too small. We came upon this home in Clarksville and it was just right. It had enough bedrooms, game room for kids, hot tub was a big bonus, location was near enough to an array of restaurants and sites, and the price was right. I contacted the owner with an array of questions and he responded and answered them quickly and courteously. We arrived and everything was accurate to its description and what our host conveyed to me. I would recommend this home to anyone who enjoys cleanliness, comfy beds, TV in almost every room, fabulously large hot tub and a great host. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

My wife and I live just 10 minutes away from the property in Jeffersonville, Indiana. We are from Louisville and moved here 3 years ago when we got married to be “independent” but still close to family and fell in love with the small town feel and the convenience of being close to everything. My wife and I are both from large families and love being able to spread out and enjoy outdoor activities when we travel on yearly vacations. We wanted to serve our guests that same way and have very intentionally included fun games, baby friendly amenities, and an awesome backyard in our space. My wife is a social worker and so naturally likes to serve and this is a way to do that while helping to support out growing family of 4 as well.

Why they chose this property

It’s a quiet, safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors and nicely sized yards. It has ample street parking and is within 5 minutes of ay store you can name, and just about 7 minutes to the nearest interstate.
