Family of 5 had a wonderful stay here! We felt comfortable from the moment we stepped inside. Close enough to Louisville to hit all the good spots and quiet and relaxing when we were done with the day. The house was well stocked and carefully thought out for its guests. This was a 5 star family stay!

This property was in a great location and had lots of nice amenities. We loved the hot tub and the downstairs game room! We could not get the outdoor fire pit to work. The host did allow us a late checkout which helped us out and we really appreciated! It could really use a deep cleaning. There was a mildew smell on the shower curtains, toilet stains, dirty floors, and a bad water filter. However, the beds were clean so it wasn't that big of a deal. We always bring house shoes with us so we're not walking barefoot on the floors anyways. The reason I had to take off a few stars was because one of the main reasons we picked this property, aside from the convenient location and amenities, was that the listing said it was pet friendly. We were planning on bringing our two Aussies with us because it was more of a business trip and we didn't want to deal with porting them. I filtered the properties based on those that allowed more than one pet. We decided at the last minute not to bring them. Once we arrived, the rules said that they do not allow pets. I am thankful we opted not to bring them because I am unsure what we would have done once we got there and saw the rules. This is something I wanted to point out in case others planned to bring their pets since it is listed as pet friendly. Overall I would still recommend this property and would stay again.

This was beyond our expectations. It was very beautiful and clean. The location was perfect. There was one complaint from one of my travel friends; she said the bedroom downstairs gets extremely hot with the heat on. The hot tub was perfect temperature and a great place to relax after Ghost hunting at the Waverly Sanatorium. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you!!!

This was one of the best stays, homes and owners ive had in years. We stayed during the bad winter storms the end of Jan. and when asked to drop off a shovel they did even better and did the shoveling of the steps and a path to the amazing swimspa in the backyard, cleared the cover of that off for us as well. We were also pleasantly surprised by how much we liked the beds as they felt pretty hard when just pushing on them but they craddled us like babies.
