Three couples stayed a week and loved the house. Great location and good communication. A lot of stairs. But we would stay here again.

We had to make a last minute change due to another property not being suitable. Roya, the owner, replied quickly to our request of same day check in and made it possible. The home was clean, comfortable, beautifully designed and fit our family of 6. We had a wonderful week in this charming neighborhood near the beach. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The house itself was fine and the linens were clean, but the overall experience was uncomfortable. The dishwasher had been broken for more than a week before our arrival and remained unusable for our entire stay; despite traveling with two young children, the host declined any adjustment for the inconvenience. There were also dried contact lenses stuck to the shower wall from a prior guest and an excessive number of rules posted throughout the house. We were particularly uncomfortable when the host messaged us that she had noticed us opening the garage—we were simply getting our children’s scooters and the beach equipment provided for guests—and instructed us on how often we could open it. During a heat wave, the thermostat also repeatedly reset itself from 72 to 77 degrees. Finally, after checkout, the host alleged that we scratched a glass table we had used only twice with paper plates and cups and sought compensation for the repair, including contacting me directly outside of Vrbo for payment. Between the broken appliance, constant rules and monitoring, temperature restrictions, and disputed post-stay charge, this was one of the least comfortable rental experiences we’ve had, and we would not return.

The guest was notified three days before arrival that the dishwasher had stopped working and that a replacement was scheduled for delivery shortly after her arrival. She declined the delivery, stating in writing, “We can do without it,” but later attempted to negotiate a lower rate. Our rental agreement specifically states that we will make every effort to correct an appliance malfunction, but it does not qualify for a refund. Guests can set the thermostat to their preferred temperature, but the energy-saving system returns to its preset after two hours and can be adjusted again. The lights operate similarly. These settings help us maintain this luxury property at a competitive rental rate. A significant scratch was documented on the glass dining table immediately after checkout. The guest initially refused to pay, so the matter had to be submitted to Vrbo, which advised her that the damage had to be paid.

Exceptional, beautiful, elegant home in wonderful Corona Del Mar walking distance to the beach. Artwork of local scenes was so nice to enjoy throughout. Especially enjoyed the peaceful patio with gorgeous trees and fire pit. Loved the ambiance and beautiful decor in this home. Hot tub on rooftop was really nice too.

Fantastic home for our family. Attended our son’s wedding at Laguna Beach with our other adult children so was a perfect home for our needs. 3 ensuites couldn’t have been better. Lovely home with high end fixtures. The only thing that would have been perfect if there were more condiments available for our home cooked meals. We used the bikes that were available and the abundance of beach towels in the garage. We utilized the hot tub on the rooftop deck. We loved the area and was within walking distance to the beach, a supermarket, restaurants and a bakery. Would return to this property in a heartbeat. Thank you Roya, the host, for communicating with us.
