Getaway from the hustle and bustle of that "every port in the Caribbean" feeling! El Palacio Rosa is our "micro-resort" in middle of Roatan (with new roads!) - FAR away from cruise and tourist congestion. Island life is steps outside your back door. Three reefs, a shipwreck, entrance to the mangrove tunnels and an Infinity pool stretching out over a quiet, clean and tranquil bay. A small private sandy beach with no one walking across it between you and your view, and a beautiful 900 SF over-bay covered patio and group kitchen.

FAMILIES:
Experience a vacation like none other - spend day after day out exploring the ecology and life above and below water in the bay, reefs and mangroves. A skiff, kayaks and paddle board are available for our guests (and a larger boat for outside the bay, requires our captain). Unbelievable snorkeling, swimming and paddle boarding right from the dock... where tour companies pick you up right from the backyard.

INCREDIBLE DIVING: Some of the best scuba spots are less than a few minutes from the dock. Patti's Place. Calvin's Crack. Carib Wall. Media Luna. And a few of our own secret spots. PRIVATE dive shop, complete with tanks (air is included for experienced divers), lockers, showers, and gear wash for our guests.

If you are a big-boy diver (feel comfortable being without/ your own divemaster) we can provide access to almost 30 different park sites in under 15 minutes. If your the explorer type and want an adventure scuba experience... let us know.

Our favorite dive sites are ones local shops rarely hit (like seamounts, or at the far-east end of Roatan) - and for hardcore spearfishing, we can arrange hunting monsters off the shelf off of the Honduran mainland where schools of large pelagics cruise.

If you're less experienced and would like a week-long diving experience with local dive masters (or to get certified), we partner with Tortuga Divers (about a mile away through the Mangrove tunnels) who are PADI certified instructors - they will pick you up at our dock and teach you to dive in our own "back yard".

WORLD CLASS FISHING:
Roatan has world class fishing both on and off the reef. Past the shelf are Wahoo, Tuna, Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper and Mahi (and the occasional sailfish).

Inshore consists of a variety of Snappers, Bonefish, Permit, and some very impressive Tarpon.

We work with local guides who literally grew up fishing Roatan and meet you right at the dock - if you'd like a hardcore day/week of fishing (troll, drop/jig, or fly) let us know and we can pre-arrange some of the best fishing experiences ever that you, your family, and/or friends will remember for a lifetime.

TOURS AND TRANSPORTATION: We are partnered with local island tour companies that will come and pick you up/drop-off right from the property to tropical gardens, animal sanctuaries with sloths/toucans/parrots/monkeys, ziplines, grocery shopping or a day-trip to the touristy west-end. We can also arrange you a rental car with a local reputable company.

FOOD: Get fresh baked Pizza delivered directly to the dock! Just a few minutes to excellent restaurants nearby. Lots of expat vibes. For large groups we can arrange to "open" the kitchen at LaRosa (the palapa at the dock) for our guests and provide a meal plan for your group.

The 3BR Suite is a fully furnished 1,800 SF 3-bedroom 2-bath suite supporting up-to 9 guests and occupies the entire second floor of El Palacio Rosa on Blue Lagoon as its own private stand-alone suite.

The 2BR suite is a fully furnished 800 SF 2-bedroom 1-bath suite supporting up-to 5 guests and occupies the entire bottom floor of El Palacio Rosa on Blue Lagoon as its own private stand-alone suite.
Green Room: Queen Bed
Blue Room: Twin/Full Bunkbed.

Special "two-fer" rates can be applied for renting both the 3BR and 2BR simultaneously, together they have bed space for 14 people (for larger groups we can cram a few onto hammocks on the dock/balcony).
