With 4 private bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, this cabin is perfect for a large family or multiple families of up to 8 people. The interior boasts a modern, natural aesthetic, with outstanding decor and unique artwork paired with sleek furnishings and beautiful wooden accents that evoke the beauty of the surrounding forest and wildlife.
As you step outside onto the large deck, you'll be greeted by comfortable outdoor furniture and a gas fireplace. You’ll have a full view of the kids playing in the yard or riding their bikes around the private cul-de-sac. Walk downstairs to a brand new hot tub in a private covered alcove with a dedicated sound system for relaxing evenings.
The Bearfoot Cabin features 6 acres of steep mountain side with a dedicated path giving you access to miles of trails, forest service roads, mountain views, and alpine lakes. Go snowshoeing during the winter or get lost on the large network of forest service roads in the summer.

When you’re done exploring what’s right in the backyard, there's plenty to keep you busy. Take a short drive to Crystal Mountain Resort for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing in the winter, or hiking, mountain biking, and scenic gondola rides in the summer. Alternatively, explore the nearby Mount Rainier National Park for breathtaking vistas, hiking trails, and more.

After a day of adventure, return to the cabin to relax and unwind. Amazingly Gorgeous House!

The house was simply amazing! It was brand new, super clean, and beautifully appointed! The outdoor hot tub was sparklingly clean and new! The house sound system was perfect for having music in each room. The main floor with the huge windows overlooking the forest was stunning - with an open kitchen/living room/dining room it was great for cooking meals every day. The downstairs entertainment room was perfect for movie night and game night. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all excellent and new and clean. The house has a ton of kid friendly games and amenities that were perfect for our 2.5 year old! And communications were easy and seamless with the owners. We will 100% stay here again next time we are up in the Crystal Mt. area!

Great stay at Crystal Mountain!

We had a blast at the Bearfoot Cabin! The property is very new, and in a terrific location for access to Crystal Mountain. The layout is great, and the property was well-stocked for the duration of our stay. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The absolute best place to stay close to Crystal

Search no more as this is quite literally the best space you’re going to find for your crystal mountain ski trip or my rainier trip. The host was soooooo incredibly kind. The house is spacious and they have thought of EVERYTHING. From waffle maker, to chairs for the fire pit to even roping off a trail up the mountain for guests to explore. The beds are comfy. The house has stunning views. I can not rave about both this property and the owners enough. It’s insanely clean and they even have a ton of stuff for kids should you be on a family vacay with young ones. They provided clean linen, towels and mats everywhere to wipe your feet before coming in. Not one detail was spared. Stay here. You will not regret it!!! Thank you!!

About the host

We'd like to share a little bit about us and our story on how we came to build The Bearfoot Cabin.

It began in 2008 when Brian started working at Crystal Mountain Resort, he was taking pictures and videos building a passion for this new hobby and working as a Ski/Snowboard instructor teaching young kiddos how to ski and snowboard.

After driving by the property listed for sale in 2008, he stopped and walked around and then inquired with the local real estate agent and a seed was planted.

Crystal Mountain is a special place to us. In 2010 Brian proposed to Abby on the summit. We now have two beautiful daughters. In 2018, Brian started working at Crystal again but in Marketing, after a short while he saw that for sale sign again. The price this time was perfect, we made an offer, purchased the property and started with the permitting process right away. We made minimal progress from 2019-2021 considering the pandemic and other financial challenges. But in 2022, it was full steam ahead and we received our occupancy permit in 2023. We're very excited to share this wonderful place with you, our guests.

The town of Greenwater is an amazing town full of such fun people and visitors year round. During the summer we have visitors experiencing the great outdoors and taking in the wonderful sights or exploring the vast trails of Mt. Rainier and the surrounding foothills. In the winter we have a mix of lifelong skiers and snowboards eagerly waiting for that next perfect day paired with families, first timers and everyone in between all visiting for the same reason... Snow. It is a wonderful sight to a wonderful blend of people all with a common goal, to explore and adventure outdoors.

What makes this property unique

The Bearfoot Cabin is one of the newest properties in the area recently built in 2023, it features modern finishes paired with tasteful wood accents and pops of color to bring in the feeling of nature.
We can also accommodate up to 10 people. With 1 King, 3 Queen, and 2 Twin beds there is space for a large family, multiple families or a group of friends to enjoy this cabin together. We also designed the home to give everyone their "space" with a large open kitchen, dining room, and living room all on the main floor, then a more rustic basement living room with plush couches, 70" TV, game tables, shuffle board table, DVDs and board games to keep you entertained. The master bedroom has a 50" TV if you want to wind down in the evening with some shows, and the basement bedroom has a 50" TV for kids or another group to wind down separately. There is also a stash of kids toys and books in the basement bedroom closet so you can keep the kiddos entertained. And those are just the indoor spaces, outside we have a large deck and covered front patio with a hot tub. On the porch you can sip wine, read a book and relax while your kids play on the 6 acres of property available to explore.
