This was a great little place to stay. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had nice appliances. Our host Justin was great at communicating everything to us so check in was super easy. He also had a nice notebook with lots of info about nearby attractions and restaurants. We had a great time!
The inside was adorable and had everything we needed. I was amazed at how quiet it was inside, given how close it is to the busy highway. Suited our needs perfectly.
The place had comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Plenty of stores and shopping nearby. The only problem I would say was the noise from the highway as we are light sleepers.
What attracted me to this property was the proximity to many attractions, such as Maple Shade Smorgasbord. The home was clean. However, it was temperature controlled to the point I couldn't make adjustments within the hot daytime and evening. Only one vent was open in the living room floor. It has an air conditioner on a closet shelf in a bedroom. Being physically challenged, I couldn't pick it up and place it on the bedroom window. Had to use a small fan provided in the bedroom. The humidifiers didn't do much in terms for heat abatement. The vent in bathroom was almost closed all the way. Clean towels, linens were provided. The couch was very comfortable. Had to sleep in living room due to that room had the only vent open. The yard lawn and front needs to be mowed. Curtains should be placed as well on all windows so guests can feel better in terms of safety, privacy, and light from road vehicles. The place has potential and a good start.
Justin responded quickly to queries & the home was in a very convenient area to where we had plans.
Home was clean, comfortable with many kitchen amenities provided.
Very pleased with our choice!
Thank you Justin & Krista

Cute place but bad location
The property itself was nice. But the location is very close to a highway hence you hear the Mac trucks all night long.
Check in was easy, interior was updated. Owners were easy to contact and responsive. We only stayed one night so it was a short stay. Honestly, without lullabies playing at night, it would’ve been hard to get settled listening to the larger trucks go bye. During the day we didn’t hear them, just laying down to settle at night. House was very clean. We would stay here again

First impressions count
When we pulled into the driveway, we became worried because the outside of the property was not well kept. The lawn was somewhat overgrown, the doormat was filthy, and the concrete at the front door was broken. When we got inside we were quite unhappy with the cleanliness. We quckly did a cleaning, wiping down surfaces with disinfectant wipes and swept the entire place. I immediately called the owner and sent him pictures, which he requested.
He apologized and refunded the $75 cleaning fee. The owner, Justin, was very nice and was very pleasant in all my contact with him. This property is on Route 30, which has traffic, including trucks, all night long. This did not bother us.
Had a great stay. Home is clean and updated with lots of extras that make your stay more comfortable. Close to everything, host was wonderful!Would definitely stay again.
Perfect spot for a small family looking to explore Lancaster County. Well laid-out house with everything you need for a comfortable stay.Minutes from Dutch Wonderland, Lancaster City and many other Dutch / Amish attractions. Our dog loved the back yard.
