Great location, helpful host

We had a few snags with the key codes at check in but the Renjoy team was very responsive and helpful! Location is excellent and it was just what we needed for a large group with common spaces but also some privacy/separation.

We rented all five units for our extended family, and overall our stay was okay, but it definitely wasn't the best place we've stayed. The property itself is cute, and having all of the units together worked well for a large group. However, if we had only rented a single unit, I think many of the issues would have been much more frustrating. There were several maintenance concerns throughout our stay. Every unit had extremely poor water pressure, regardless of whether other units were using water or not. The lights constantly flickered from dim to bright, which happened throughout our entire stay. The bathrooms had visible mold, which was disappointing, and we found the provided linens to be inadequate. Each unit only had one kitchen hand towel and washcloth, along with a limited number of bath towels and blankets. . Some of the bedrooms also had very few electrical outlets, forcing some of us to charge our devices in the hallway. The location was another downside. It's on a busy, noisy road, and there were quite a few homeless individuals frequently walking near the property, which didn't make the area feel particularly comfortable. One positive experience was when we discovered a wasp/hornet nest on one of the patios. We contacted support, and they were

Lora, we're sorry the water pressure, lights, and other maintenance issues made parts of your stay at Pikes Estate frustrating. We've taken ownership of those fixes and are handling them right away. Glad the five units worked well together for your family, and thanks for flagging the wasp nest. We'd love to host you again.

Fantastic space

This space was the perfect layout for our group. The host was very helpful, and we had a wonderful trip thanks to having such a great place to stay. Having the park across the street was great for our young people too. There was the occasional vagrant, but the property is well-equipped with new locks and security cameras. We never felt unsafe thanks to the extra layer of security. It was a good mix of urban and outdoorsy living!

Cadet Graduation 2025

Traveling to COS with 20 adults and 2 babies was no small feat! And this location provided us with what we needed!Despite some of the "units" needing some maintenance attention, my overall stay here at Pikes Peak was wonderful!! I can't say enough about the host, Kaitlyn! She responds immediately to questions, concerns, etc. She even followed up with a personal text to mske sure my family and I had all returned home safely

Excellent!!!

This is a great property! First impression was it was clean and wonderful surprise to have the place stocked with some drinks and snacks upon arrival after a long day of traveling. Excellent perk! First impression of the layout felt weird and cut off. However, it turned out awesome and what a great layout for a group of co-workers and friends! The arcade and fire pit area was awesome for hanging out. The host is amazing and we knew if we needed anything they were there to help. This location will be on your list to stay again.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
This place could be so much nicer it the owners actually invested in it. It barely sleeps the number of people it advertises for and the pull out couches that are used to get the place to sleep that number are terrible. We could not use the oven in one of the units because it would not ignite and instead just leaked gas. It took 5 days and multiple messages to get someone to come out and look at what was wrong. Maintenance showed up Friday evening - the night before we left to fix the issue. Oh, and what was wrong was how dirty the stove was.I had grandchildren with me and one of the units was so dirty that the toddlers barefeet were BLACK after 2 hours playing in the room. The water pressure was awful. There are 5 units on this property - if someone else was showering or a dishwasher was running or laundry was running, the shower came out as a trickle. The backyard looked beautiful until you went to play cornhole and saw the squirrel carcass that was lying next to the game. Do they clean outside? I would say no. They have a beautiful fire pit with no directions on how to start it. It is a gas fire pit, and having one myself, I know how to use, but I could not find an igniter to start the fire pit, so it was useless. There were two nice things about this place - it is right across the street from a super park that we used and walked each morning. The other nice thing about this place is that is was close to many attractions.I recommend not choosing this location.

friends' reunion

As a group of twenty people with a wide range of ages, we had a variety of needs that needed to be met, and this property met most of them. We stayed in every single unit, and we used all the amenities. We were, overall, very happy with our stay. Cleanliness - The interior cleanliness of the units was good. Floors, kitchen, linens, and bathrooms were clean. There was noticeable mold on the ceiling of the bathroom of some units, so those with mold sensitivities may want to choose a different location. The exterior cleanliness of the building was ok, as there were two areas of standing water that hadn't been cleared up. Safety - The fences *mostly* kept our young children contained, and we were able to easily and reliably use the locks on our unit doors. (One unit's door keypad was broken, but those guests were given a physical key.) Unit B has a dangerous set of stairs immediately outside the front door that needs to be maneuvered around very carefully. The neighborhood is on a busy and loud main road, but we didn't notice any nefarious activity. Check-In - Clear instructions were given for check-in, and we had prompt communication with the property manager when needed regarding a broken door keypad. We also got quick responses to other questions about parking, etc.Amenities - We ate all meals together, so we were happy with all the outdoor seating. Having twelve children along, we really appreciated the arcade space (all its games and the tv work) and enclosed patio.
