The home was clean, comfortable and had amenities for anyone and everyone to enjoy. It was really a fantastic experience and the hosts were very hospitable and kind. I would recommend anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway with plenty of things to do check out LoZa house. I will definitely be returning in the future and hope others will enjoy it as much as we did. In addition, The views are out of this world it really felt like an 11/10 star experience.

We stayed at the LoZa house for my sons graduation weekend . The property is amazing . The lakeside views were fantastic and it was super clean. The host couldn't have been nicer. He checked in on us and even gave us a graduation gifts for my son ( his children helped make it which was real special ) . Its a great property with a great host .

Jon was an amazing host. He seemed to anticipate each of our needs ahead of time. He was extremely friendly and very easy to communicate with. We were made to feel like we were visiting a relative who wanted to make our stay as enjoyable as he possibly could. After we inquired, he suggested many establishments to eat in Plattsburgh. Two of which we went to and were extremely happy we did. Great food and atmosphere. Our visit was for a week which seemed to fly by. The mornings were amazing, waking up to the breeze coming in off the lake. We had beautiful weather which allowed us to utilize the canoe and paddle boat. My wife was amazed of the lack of flying bugs when we went down to the edge of the lake and in the hot tub. We had many meals on the balcony off the kitchen because of the pleasant view and slight breeze. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week. Loved every minute of it.

LoZa House was an amazing experience. The setting is spectacular, with Lake Champlain as the front and side yard, and picture book views from every window. Although we had a short stay and did not take advantage of swimming opportunities, watercraft and swimming are available. Our 2-story apartment was spotlessly clean and boasted all the amenities we could ask for. The architectural details and decor are exceptionally well done and attractive. One note: the spiral stairs from the ground floor to second floor gave us (active 70 year olds) no problem, but individuals with more limited mobility might have difficulty. Our host, Jon, is an exceptionally good communicator. When I messaged him about laundry detergent, he was at the door within minutes. The workings and location of everything in the apartment is explained in laminated instructions and in the manual, which also contains a wealth of information on locations of interest nearby. Next time we visit Plattsburgh, we hope to stay at LoZa House again!

This was a wonderful experience filled with beautiful views, simple conveniences in the home to enjoy, a perfect location to experience places like Canada, Ausable Chasm and Burlington VT. Jon was there when we needed anything and what topped it off were the lovely notes from their children welcoming us anytime. Highly recommend this wonderful lakeside retreat!

Spent 3 nights there with my older daughter. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, while also allowing us plenty of privacy. Despite there being multiple units, there were no issues with noise from other guests. Kitchenette allowed option to cook in. Views were amazing! Fell asleep listening to waves on the lake each night.

Loved the balcony view! Very calming to see the lake and hear the water lapping up against the rocks. Kitchen had just enough pf everything a couple would need. Everything was so clean and decorated beautifully. The fridge was very small so we didn't buy much food for cooking which was fine as it was our anniversary and we enjoyed eating out and ordering delivery. The hot tub was perfect on the chilly nights! John was a perfect host and you can't beat the beautiful location! Highly recommend staying here.

Lake and sky

We had a wonderful experience. The views of the lake and the sky are beautiful. Very clean, comfortable beds and tiny but well equipped kitchen allowed us to eat many meals on the porch listening to lake and taking in the colors. The hosts are very attentive and amiable. A gem in the North Country Lake Champlain

Gorgeous views from the banks of Lake Champlain and a deck setting that's a chef's kiss! Simply an amazing, super clean place with great fixtures (love the vessel) and great hosts. Looking for that prime spot close to Plattsburgh and then Montreal it's an absolute GEM in the North Country of NY. Book it! You won't regret it!

Well, as all the other reviews of this property state, this place is absolutely beautiful. I loved the design and that John and Sergio thought of just about everything to make it comfortable and fun. For a small footprint everything you need is at your fingertips the view of the lake with the big sliding glass doors is nothing short of spectacular. Everything was spotlessly clean.We thoroughly enjoyed the area, which was in close proximity of so many things to do. The ferry to Grand Isle and then a drive to Burlington, a day to go to Au Sable Chasm and High Falls, a drive up Whiteface Mountain which I highly recommend and several local gems like the Plattsburgh Air Force Base Museum, which was really cool and the Stoneledge sculpture garden, which we just stumbled upon but found to be really interesting with cool sculptures. Possibly the best meal we had with just a beautiful setting and great food in a little bit of elegance was at a restaurant called Shore Acres in North hero Vermont. I highly recommend this place. Finally, just sitting at the back of the property on some very comfortable chairs and reading while looking at Lake Champlain can’t be beat.I highly recommend this property and its hosts. John was the perfect combination of helpful and informative without being intrusive. And one thing I noticed is the lack of noise from any of the other rental units. So I think you can conclude that I loved this place and I highly recommend it !

Great views of Crab Island and Cumberland Bay

The Coastal Unit is comfortable and well-appointed. There are great views of Crab Island and Cumberland Bay from the coastal unit - particularly from the balcony. There are different great views of Lake Champlain from the shore area. Quiet and peaceful, with occasional distant train whistles (but not at all disturbing). The host family was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in providing a good experience. We very much enjoyed our stay at the LoZa House Coastal Unit.

We were thrilled with this area's beauty, with Lake Champlain, the Ausable Chasm, and the property’s location. We hadn’t thought about where we wanted to go for a week, and I just happened to come across this LoZa property and decided to rent it out on a whim. The main reason was the lake and the relatively mild temperatures. This rental business is run professionally, and John and his family were fantastic. I’d highly recommend this rental property to everyone, and our stay here was an amazing 10 out of 10! Ps,We are from Jersey, and we brought our dog with us. He had a blast, especially kayaking with me on the lake. It was awesome!

Beauty, Convenience, & a Chance to Unwind

I can't say enough about our wonderful two-week stay at LoZa House. We have been home just a few days, and I'm already missing the sound of lapping waves, the cherry-red cardinals, the distant ferry horn! LoZa House is a special, special place, and anyone would be lucky to find this gem. The property itself is a new construction that's been meticulously cared for by Jon & Sergio. Everything is thoughtfully designed--space-savvy but also stylish and chosen, seemingly, to aid relaxation. The property is right on the water but is so new, it's sealed off from the elements. We looked at all three properties before we left since we might want to sample them all in the coming years--they're all great. The Coastal Unit was incredibly special due to the wide porch with sliding glass doors overlooking the bay. Gorgeous views, both during the sunny days and the rainstorms. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are all perfectly stocked and maintained. Thoughtful touches everywhere. Plattsburgh itself was a great location, easy drives to Montreal, Burlington (ferry is simple & enjoyable), Fort Ticonderoga, Saranac Lake, etc. Jon, Sergio, & their family gave us privacy but were completely available for any questions or requests. Even alerted us to an especially pretty moon one night! Kid-friendly, w/ a little playground on site, and dog-friendly! I'd write a book of wonderful details if Vrbo would let me, but with a word cap, I can only say...this is the gem you've been looking for!

Coastal design unit

The Coastal Design unit at LoZa House was fantastic! Two cozy floors of peace and tranquility. The views from the HUGE sliding doors are incredible. You can enjoy the lakeview from either the balcony, which is sublime, or from inside the unit while sitting on the comfortable sofa with the doors open so it feels like you are outside. The breeze was perfect and the sound of the waves calming. Majestic! Everything was brand new, and they did not skimp on quality. The beds were super comfortable, and it was amazing to be able to see the lake views right from bed as well. Perfect! The kitchen has everything you need for a short-term stay, a small fridge with freezer on top, a small gas range, and the cutest mini-dishwasher I have ever seen. It was awesome to not have to wash dishes while on vacation. The full-size washer and dryer were convenient too. My husband had a little work-cation and used the mini-work station in the bedroom which was exactly what he needed for his computer work. We usually just go for rentals with reviews, but Jon lived up to his premier host status for his other, older Screened-in porch vacation rental unit we saw in his Youtube “LoZa House vacation rentals” video which clearly proves his superb host capabilities. He said that the quality of our stay was important to him, and you could see that it was. There are two other vacation rentals at LoZa House, the previously mentioned older Screened-in porch unit and the other newer Skydeck unit. I cannot wait
