The property is absolutely beautiful; the photos actually don't do it justice. Check-in couldn't have been more smooth. We stayed during an intense summer heatwave but the window units kept our rooms cool enough to stay comfortable. We'd absolutely love to return during the autumn!

Very nice and private property with lots of open space and trails to walk on. The place is rustic, but has everything you need including a giant fireplace. The hot tub was great too. I hope to visit again soon.

Group of 7 guys. Had an amazing time. Very private, clean, and Larry was super chill. Would absolutely come back for another stay. As noted by other guests, the staircase is narrow and steep. Also worth mentioning is that there is no dishwasher, if that matters to you.

Spacious, clean, inviting, warm. Everything we anticipated and more. Spent most of the time outside hiking and enjoying the nature, but the evenings in the hot tub and playing games was complimented by the warm environment and calming surroundings.

This was a wonderful getaway. The property is tucked away on beautiful property. Very accommodating for our family which included infant to adult. The hot tub was as a nice add! The host was a great communicator and was very accommodating.We will visit again.

This was such a great experience for our family this past weekend! There were 6 adults and 7 children, plenty of room for everyone. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the wood stoves were great, and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, including very comfy flannel sheets on the beds. Larry, our host, was very quick to respond to my questions prior to our stay. All 13 of us give this property a 10/10, and we would stay here again for sure!

Great Family Location

We came from several locations to attend a wedding and wanted to stay in a big comfy house together. The property was perfect and the host was fantastic. Absolute stay.

Great getaway

We have a group of teachers who get away to this cabin every year in the early spring. It's always a great location. Close enough to go out hiking or to Berkeley springs for people that want to do that, but plenty of space to hang out if you just want to rest and relax around the property.

Rustic getaway in WV

We chose this location for a girls’ weekend. The property is very private with beautiful views! It is very rustic, perfect for a trip to the mountains/ woods. All beds are on the second floor, up a narrow set of ladder steps. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time away

June 27th through July 12th Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We couldn't have asked for a better location and Larry was phenomenal at responding to any questions we had. There was a total of nine of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property

This property is amazing. The lodge was very clean , cozy and secluded. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends and family. Larry was a great host and had the woodstoves going for us when we arrived. If you're looking for a place to get away with lots of privacy and beautiful views, this is it!

Great property

We had a wonderful weekend. Plenty of inside space for 10 adults and 6 kids. Love the wood stoves and fire place. Great property for a killer game of kickball.

Met all our needs

Larry was VERY accommodating and helpful. The house and property have a charm to it that made for relaxing evenings. Plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Annual Man Camp

The house and property were perfect for our needs. The house is charmingly rustic. The grounds are isolated and spacious. We had such a good time we are planning to return next year.
