The NUMBER ONE thing about this property was it has TERRIBLE cooling/heating! We arrived at 4:00 pm and it was 85 F outside. Inside downstairs it was 76 Fwith 60% humidity. (sorry, American) Upstairs, where the bedrooms were, it was about 85 F. I immediately went about setting the thermostat to a much cooler temperature. over the course of the next 2 hours, the temperature continued to rise downstairs and was unbearable upstairs. at this point, I messaged the property owner/manager with my issue, to which they responded to make sure that I didn't have the heat on and also that it was going to be hot upstairs because the Sun was shining on the rooms and it got really hot by the windows. Obviously, I did not have the heat on. also, I undoubtedly already knew why it was so damn hot upstairs, because they didn't have the proper window treatments for the situation. the windows on this property should have been solar treated with either tinting or a mere reflection on the outside. they should have had solar insulated shades, and they should have had blackout thermal curtains that fit the window instead of these little hanging curtains they had in there that were about half the size of the window. it was so unbearable that we had to leave and was hoping that when we came back that somehow it would be cooler in the house. when we came back the temperature had never changed. the owner/manager never gave any concern or resolution in any manner. do not stay here!
