BEACH FRONT Condo with pool access - Matagorda Dunes #42

You will enjoy unobstructed views and direct access to the Gulf of Mexico from this beach-front condo just over the dunes of Matagorda Beach near the mouth of the Colorado River and East Matagorda Bay!!! We are situated in a neighborhood of similar condos - but are the only beach-front building that doesn't have other buildings on either side. Enjoy the peacefulness of the large deck that overlooks the Gulf with privacy!

The unit has three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, and is a tastefully furnished beach-front condo that comfortably accommodates up to 6 people. Need more space? You can also rent the other side of our building (Unit #41) for up to 6 more spots! A spacious deck connects the units so you can enjoy looking at the stars and listening to the ocean together and then retire to your separate sides for a relaxing night's sleep!

The unit is fully stocked with bath towels, linens, dishes, flatware, and cookware. An electric range, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, coffee maker, satellite TV, VCR, DVD player, ceiling fans, central AC, and heat are also included.

Amenities of the neighborhood complex include a pleasant lagoon, a large pool, and the Gulf of Mexico just over the dunes!

Advanced reservations and a deposit are required. Please, no pets in the condo without special permission.

Great spot

Location was great, it is beach front, but it’s quite a hike to get over the dunes (especially if you’re bringing coolers, tents,etc) so we chose to drive. The beach entrance is very close though. Our family enjoyed the games and puzzles provided.

Great spot if you like quiet areas!

Our first time to Matagorda and it’s great if you like less people at the beach! We drove to the beach mostly but the walk through the dunes is not bad either. We loved sitting on the patio for dinner and to look at the stars at night.

Best Property in Matagorda

This is one of the best properties to stay in Matagorda. A clean 3 bedroom 2 bath condo on the beach with access to a clean community pool. The views from the deck were awesome and steps away from a lagoon stocked with fish. Condo was clean and comfortable. Will be returning next year.

Maintenance Fail

My 2 young kids and I were never able to get in because the lock was damaged. Anne was quick to respond to my message, but after a 6 hour drive, I didnt think it was fair to make my kids wait in the heat for another hour for someone to come get us in the door. We left and drove the whole way home the same day. I was extremely disappointed that our entire vacation was ruined over it, but more disappointed that the owner would not offer even a partial refund for the house we never even went inside of. That just seems like bad business to me. I was offered a free night as if I am going to make that drive all the way back after this mess, and in no way does that make up for our ruined groceries, gas and rental fees, and two very disappointed little girls.

Beach dream!

We had an excellent time staying so close to the beach with our dogs! The direct walking path to the sand made it easy to wade into the waves under the stars. Would definitely return!
