Condo was comfortable and roomy. Patti is absolutely THE BEST host. We had a couple hiccups, missing charcoal grill and a/c went out , but she was quick to get us a grill and had someone out the next morning to fix a/c(on a holiday weekend)! We would definitely stay again, along with any other property she hosts!

Nice Place, Just Bad Timing with Too Many Mosquitos

Nice area, just wouldn’t recommend going during the height of Mosquito Season. Place could have been cleaner.

Relax and Unwind

Nice place to getaway from the hustle and grind. This Beach House has Ocean Views. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach. The dunes give you some privacy from the crowd. The Beach House was nice and it has a checker board table which we enjoyed. The property manager was so nice and helpful. We had a great time there, just wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing I recommend is to bring bug repellent during mosquito season. Other than that enjoy yourselves.

Disgusting

Carpet up stairs is disgusting. Multiple things broke. Owner is obviously cheap and wont replace things that are past due.

Great Beach Getaway

Start to finish, the stay here was really nice. We liked being so close to the beach. It was a short hop over the dunes which lends wonderful views from the second story balcony (where we ate dinner and enjoyed the sunset). The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen basics. The second story balcony was an absolute delight. Zero obstructed views of the beach. We could hear the waves we were so close! The property is missing some minor conveniences that other similar properties on the island offer at the same price point. We had to supply our own paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap for the bathrooms, trash bags, and dish detergent for the dishwasher. Throughout our stay, we discovered these missing items and had to frequently go back into town to buy them. The hassle of those trips for items that we feel should have been included was a downer on an otherwise lovely stay.

Would not recommend

All the mattresses on the beds were horrible and uncomfortable. The living room furniture was less than comfortable also. Pulled miscellaneous toys from between sofa cushions. All the vents had mold. The AC filter was filthy. The speaker on the living room TV was blown. The outside furniture was broken and dilapidated. The ceiling fan in the master could not be used as it seemed it might fall from the ceiling. Sheets were wadded up in the closet. We had no internet. Had a password but no network. Someones underwear in the bathroom drawer. The unit seems not to have been updated since the 90's. The pool at the complex was very nice. The view is great!

The place needs some renevations. Carpet stains made us feel we had to wear shoes and not go barefoot in bedroom. Tile floor at entrance all broken up. Says a BBQ pit there, but was no top grill. View was good, also said can walk straight to beach, they left out only if you don't mind encounter a rattle snake in tall salt grass. I felt it was priced as a upper quality accomidations. But nail holes in walls from previous pictures stained carpet broken outside shower broken built in microwave (dicovered why there was another microwave on counter) The pool was really nice, but the HOA Karen questioned us and the grandkids everytime we went to the pool. Broken furniture and BBQ pit just laying around. I reccomend rewash dish dried food left on plates in cabinet. We had a good time though.
