This house was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was clean and very large, room enough for everyone, a great pier and a boat slip. My boys especially enjoyed the pool table

The house was absolutely gorgeous and the outside deck and pier on the water was so nice and relaxing. Very close to the beach. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect house for our group! It was spacious, clean & comfortable. The house was stocked with all the essentials. We loved all the dock space for fishing off the dock and the screened in area under the house was great once the skeeters came out. The host was very communicative and accommodating. This house will definitely be my first pick the next time we’re in Matagorda!

I am from the surrounding Houston area and Matagorda has been a place very near and dear to my heart. I have traveled down to the area for many years to fish, hunt or just relax on the beach. This home has been our family vacation place for many years and it gives me joy to share it with others. Mostly, I love seeing others get to enjoy it and create memories like we did as a family.

Why they chose this property

Matagorda is a small, charming beach town and a great community. I mostly love the tranquility and peace down there. The restaurant and businesses are mostly owned by locals all benefiting the community. Great fishing and hunting. Love the beach of course !
