Coastal Cabana! Three bedrooms and a lighted pier on the river!

The Coastal Cabana is a newly constructed home, located on a private road off the hiway . We are right on the river with three bedrooms, two baths, and a huge front deck. Our new fishing and crabbing pier is ready to make vacation memories to last a lifetime. Enjoy cooking upstairs in the full kitchen or grilling downstairs on our cowboy grill or propane grill. Enjoy cool breezes bug free in the new screened area downstairs! The house includes three large bedrooms, two baths with walk in showers and an open kitchen and living area.
Please note, boat lift is not included in the rental.

Trash pickup is on Wednesday. Anything that doesn't fit in the dumpster is your responsibility. Deposit will be charged for trash left on the ground

We go offshore fishing in matagorda and this rental has by far been the best we have stayed at! Great home with charm and an outstanding pier! The owner is very helpful and will answer any questions you may have!

The best rental in Matagorda

We've rented a house in Matagorda every year for a long time. This is the nicest we've ever had. It was spotless, everything was so new and/or well taken care of, and everything you could want for comfort. The pier was great for fishing and crabbing. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the TV had great entertainment options. Loved the showers! And the owner is great. We will definitely be back!

Another great stay

This was our third stay at the Coastal Cabana. Perfect experience from beginning to end once again. The owner, Tommy, was awesome, with helpful tips from crabbing to catching bait to places to eat. He was very quick to respond when I texted him with questions. The house is spacious and immaculate, with everything we needed including cookware, fish cleaning station, great AC!!, screened-in outdoor lower level, balcony that is perfect for coffee and boat watching in the morning and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The washer/dryer were certainly appreciated as well. The location couldn’t be better either; literally just seconds by boat to Wayne’s bait camp, with easy access to West Bay, and a very short drive to the beach. Feels like home away from home. Will definitely be back!

Beach, river, bay fishing. We did it all and had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Coastal Cabana!!

Family trip with the adult kids, new wife and the youngest kiddo (7). The coastal cabana had everything we needed for some salty air fun. The family enjoyed every aspect of this property. Many fish caught off the dock, including a $700 rod that was pulled out of the holder while no one was within reach.The fire pit grilled some amazing dinners and also warmed ourselves in the late hours of fishing and fun. The pole holders everywhere were a plus as we had a bunch. The ac is cold and living room recliners are so comfy. All the beds were comfortable and fantastic showers. Tommy was great with answering questions quickly and provided all the info we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We will certainly start here again.

The property was great and very clean. We fished off the pier and caught some crabs with the provided trap. Local food was great. There was a grill that we used for BBQ. Overall great experience and would rent again!

Beautiful Home-Perfect Location!

This home is beautiful and exactly as shown on VRBO. The location was perfect for access to the Matagorda Harbor. We were going on a guided fishing trip during our stay, but unfortunately my husband became very ill. Our friends and I made the most of the weekend even though things didn’t go as planned. We will be rescheduling our trip and will definitely stay in this house again. Loved it so much!!
