Spacious, newly renovated 3 BD/2Bath river home. Brand new 2 story boat house with covered pavilion. Perfect for entertaining and/or relaxing. Park your boat right off the dock. We are right on the river, close to the Gulf of Mexico, East Matagorda Bay, and West Matagorda Bay. All your fishing experiences in one place! Short drive to Matagorda Beach, too. House has all the amenities you would expect and the outdoor pavilion is an incredible space to grill the days catch and watch amazing sunsets.

Beautiful Home with great location

Very well taken care of property! Perfect location and the covered dock with the TV, couches, and grill was awesome. Lloyd was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this property. It has it all.

Matagorda Delight

The rental was exactly as described - it was perfect! impeccably clean, very nicely renovated, and modernized. The deck was out of this world! A very nice place for anyone having a get-together. The owners were awesome. Great communication and a delight to talk/text with. I highly recommend this home away from home!

Excellent house for family vacations

The property is newly renovated, and the renovation is excellent. Lots of high end touches. The over water, covered deck is fantastic and perfect for watching sunsets. The owner is very helpful. It is clear that they have put a lot of time and thought into their property. We will be coming back.

Kitchen was fabulous! Very spacious, lots of cabinets, granite countertops with modern appliances and an excellent selection of pots, pans and utensils. Large utility room included full-size washer and dryer. AC was cold and comfortable. Nest thermostat. Easy to work. Bathrooms were roomy and accessible with instant hot water and the sundeck overlooking the Colorado River absolutely spectacular! Wifi was speedy and accommodated numerous devices. Highly recommend this property for your next Matagorda visit.

Perfect stay on the river!!

The home was so clean and fresh, and had a perfect setup for a family stay. The property owner was very helpful and made himself available in case we needed anything during our stay. The view off the deck was unreal, and my brother loved fishing off the dock the entire week. It is easy to run into town or head out to the beach, the location is right in the center of beach road! We will definitely be renting this property again!!

Great stay on the water

Boat house is huge with ample room to dock your boat during the stay is a selling point. The house and cleanliness of the property is great. Wife and kids were very comfortable during a spring break stay. Owners are friendly and communicative. Beach is only 5 minutes away. I will definitely be back.

Amazing home

My wife and myself stayed with two other couples Labor Day weekend. Everyone really enjoyed the house and deck over the river. Everything was exactly like it showed on the advertisement. When we get a chance, we will definitely stay again.

This is our new favorite place to gather the family....the boathouse is incredible. The views are fantastic. We had almost no neighbors while we stayed so that made it extra nice. We will be back. Yes, i highly recommend this house.

Family Vacation

The stay was perfect! We very much enjoyed the upstairs deck with our five grand babies ranging from 2 years of age to 12, felt very safe… the only thing I would change would be the ac be cooler during the day closer to evening but that’s just me I’m hot natured. But truly everything was AWESOME would return again!

Amazingly gorgeous

Our hosts have a beautiful property beyond our expectations. Everything was perfect from the furnishings to the view. A gem near the beach and we are already looking forward to coming back.
