Good place

For me everything was good the place was clean, comfortable and very close to the beach. The only thing that I did not like was that we had to take the trash and find the dumpster I don’t know where. I was not able to find it because I’m not from that area so I had to bring it home with me.

We had a blast!

Matagorda House

Wry nice property and location. Enjoyed all the amenities. The only negative aspect for my wife and I was the lack of showering capability. As we are both over 65, getting in and of the tub was very difficult. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Fish and more fish!

We spent Labor Day weekend at this beautiful home. The house was spotless and the ac worked great. Beds were very comfortable. Hostess responded to messages quickly. They have a large pier for fishing with a night light. The fish were practically jumping out of the water so our teenage boys could catch them. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next trip to Matagorda.

Great place to enjoy both worlds of fishing & beaching

This place was very nice, very clean and perfect for both my husband’s and my checklist. We both love fishing and I enjoy beach combing. This place allows both, a private pier with lighting for night fishing and just a short drive to the beach. We are looking forward to visiting this place again!

Amazing rental

We loved the location and the home. It accomodated our group perfectly!! It was so quiet and everyone we talked to were so friendly. We caught so much catfish and crabs! We love Matagorda and will definitely be back!!

Hooked Up Lodge

Great place to stay for the avid angler having immediate access to both East & West Bays, the intercoastal and Colorado River. Having the bait camp & launch right next door was a nice plus as well. Look forward to coming back!

Matagorda Getaway

This property was just right for us. We had 4 adults and 3 children. We cooked meals, enjoyed the patio, and fishing from the dock. It is close to the beach where we spent some time also.

Great Fishing Getaway

Property is a great little house for a fishing getaway at the coast! It's located on the river and one of the closest houses to the gulf, with a bait shop literally located just a couple of houses away! Green light on the private dock worked great and house had plenty of room to fit everyone comfortably. Property owners were great and very responsive. Will definitely be returning!

Restful Retreat

Owner very responsive to any concerns. Clean and fully equipped kitchen. Comfy beds and a/c was perfect! Fishing slow, but we relaxed right beside the water. We will return!

Nice getaway

Nice roomy property, with plenty of beds. Great location between town and the beach. We always love staying on the river. Perk with this one that we havent had with other rentals was the wifi and ability to watch tv in the streaming subscriptions.
