This is the perfect little spot for a getaway. It's exactly as advertised and communicating with the host was very prompt, easy and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Perfect place to stay while fishing in matagorda

House was exceptionally clean, beds comfortable, and perfect location for fishing and close proximity to town. Property owner and management were great, plan to stay next year for Texas Oilman's Tournament.

Nonstop action

My family and I had a great time. Captain had us on the fish all day long. Reds, black drum, and speckled trout almost every cast! It was by far the best Tx coast fishing trip we’ve ever been on. We can’t wait to come back.

Comfortable, Classy & Convenient

This home was the perfect landing spot for a quick fishing trip for us boys. We were very comfortable in our bedrooms (each with its own air conditioner), nice living space and very well equipped kitchen. But it is classy enough to bring mom with us next time. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

Beach house was clean,and good location,only complaint they need to maintain all pier fishing lights.Thats why we rented it.We will stay there again.

Perfect little getaway

Our family of 3 absolutely loved our stay here at Gorda Getaway. From check in to check out, everything was perfect and easy. We felt to home right as we walked in. The beds were very comfortable, and the couch was plenty big for all 3 of us to lay on to take a nap. The interior appears to have been recently updated with all new appliances and dishes - very nice. Coffee pods and ground coffee was available for us to enjoy. Loved the ice maker on the patio. And plenty of seating outside to enjoy your morning coffee or evening sunset. Enjoyed swinging by the dock as the boys fished. Was truly a lovely experience. Very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Will be back for sure.
