As the homeowner we appreciate communication of any issues with the home and will take care of them quickly. The House Rules sheet details care of the home during the stay and upon Check-Out, which were not completely followed in this case. From the Check Out instructions, the refrigerator and freezer are to be cleaned out. When this guest checked out there was still food in the refrigerator and freezer. The Check Out instructions also note to take out trash and place it in the appropriate bins. Shopping bags on the kitchen table and a few shoved in a drawer as well as trash left in the home is not taking out the trash. With the trash and recycle bins we found recycling in the trash bin and trash (open spilled salad and other food trash) in the recycle bin. Pans had to be rewashed with black burned food still in it. Check out instructions note washing dishes and that would include all food or an additional cleaning fee applies. During the stay, it is clear that any spills on the wood floors are to be cleaned up. Various places on the wood flooring had mud,that should've been cleaned right away or before leaving. Spilled pop was on the floor of a bedroom and a chair now has a stain on it as if sat on with wet clothes. Any additional charges for not leaving the home in stated conditions are clear and in this case applied. We've had many renters who have left the home in the expected condition and appreciate those who respect the home and the house rules.
