Best place to stay in Campbell River
The property reminds me of a modern cabin- it looks like something out of a magazine or on Hgtv and is very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable! It was really nice to have an affordable place with 3 beds- and 3 comfortable beds at that. No pull outs! There are lots of grounds and tons of outdoor space. The large fire table and large deck out on the front deck with an ocean view is spectacular to enjoy. We saw some cruise ships go by at night. The sauna out back is also an extra special bonus and was much enjoyed! This property has everything you need and all the comforts of home plus more! The property is across the road from the ocean, so you can see and hear a few cars from the front deck but we could not hear anything from inside the bedrooms and the ocean view is still up close and expansive. The recommendations we tried from the digital guide book were amazing. At Dockside fish and chips - the fish and chips were the best we’ve ever had and the dockside allows for viewing seals! The 50 parallel bar and grill was a delicious and a well priced in dining experience. Everyone was extremely nice at both places. Elks falls with the suspension bridge was only about a 10 minute drive and was only about a 15 min walk to some amazing waterfalls! Storey creek golf course is very scenic and there are lots of amazing golf courses around! There is so much to see and do very close by around the area - we didn’t get a chance to do all we wanted too so we will be back!
