Beautiful 2 bedroom, each with queen bed, and good size TV area, with eating area, and nice kitchen and own laundry. A great base to explore Vancouver, Central Location, and only steps to King Edward Sky train station, minutes to air port, downtown, and restaurant and shops on Cambie, and steps to Douglas park kids playground, and beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park.

Spacious and clean

Place has built in kitchen, laundry, 2 rooms and foldout couch. Area is nice to walk around in the community and easy access to area. Great host to our first Vancouver stay!

Basement suite with comfortable bedrooms

This is a great place if you need a place to sleep in a central-ish location in Vancouver. On a quiet street and fairly close to amenities on Cambie Street. The bedrooms are dark and comfortable - great for a good night's sleep. Very easy to communicate with host. The kitchen/dining area/living room feels very crammed and the place has a very basement feeling. Additional fees for additional guest (really, with 2 bedrooms, how can 2 people lead to additional guest fees?), linen, and electricity is something I haven't seen on VRBO before...

Clean, but noisy and uncomfortable

We really wanted to love this walk-out basement apartment, but it just didn't suit us at all. PROS: It is very new and clean and in a nice neighborhood close to transit. The washer and dryer were a nice convenience, and the apt feels very private. There are several good, casual restaurants close by. CONS: Unfortunately, there isn't a comfy place to sit, either inside or out, to read, work, catch up on emails, or watch TV. We had to cover the couch seats with every pillow we could find in order to make it usable. Also, the noises from the main house carried through to our unit (entertained guests 2 of 7 nights we were there, baby crying, chairs scraping on the floor, odd knocks and thumps on our ceiling). We spent most of each day out in the city, and we were disappointed that we couldn't relax when we returned. Owner did offer compensation.

Long weekend stay

Great communication with the owner. The unit was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed how close it was to the train station and some good restaurants. Overall happy with our stay.
