Casa Amarilla is one of the few BEACHFRONT homes overlooking the famous surf break at San Pedrito, Baja California Sur. The newly constructed Casa Amarilla offers a complete kitchen, bathroom, living and dining areas, terrazas and spectacular views of the beach, surf, and sunsets! Mexican accented tile adds to the ambiance. Besides enjoying the fun of the beach and surf right outside Casa Amarilla, the views and sounds of the surf generate a sense of place while being seen and heard from the kitchen, dining and living area.. Imagine waking up (or even washing dishes!) to an ocean view! This is Baja!

The white sand beach, a leatherback turtle nesting area, extends 3 miles to the south across El Pescadero and is perfect for long walks. Just step outside to begin! When Humpback and Gray whales are migrating offshore, their spouts, flukes and occasional breaching can be seen from the beach and this beach house. This area is one of the few water-rich locales along the desert Baja coast, giving rise to native palm groves and small local Mexican farms growing basil, chilies, herbs and flowers just inland from the beach community.

Nearby, the restaurant and bar of the “Rancho Pescadero”, a boutique resort/hotel, are accessible from the beach or road, a short walk (¼ mile) south of Casa Amarilla. The beach house is just a few minutes (less than 2 miles) drive from the tiendas (small grocery stores), taco stands, restaurants, gas station, and a sports bar in the community of El Pescadero. The historic town of Todos Santos, designated as a “Pueblo Magico” is just a 10 minute drive north, and offers a variety of restaurants, great taco stands, tiendas, craft shops, banks, and art galleries, all within walking distance of its church and plaza. Or, load Casa Amarillas beach umbrella, beach chairs, and cooler into your car and head for Los Cerritos Beach, just a 7 minute drive south of Casa Amarilla, a family friendly swimming beach with lifeguards, surfboard rentals, and a beachside restaurant/bar. Of course, all the activities of cruise ship destination Cabo San Lucas are about a half hour's drive south.

Stupendous location! Think Mexico Tranquility meets pure Oceanic Power! You can walk on the beach for miles with low density but friendly people. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Perfect spot for whale spotting and surfing!

My husband and I choose Brian’s rental as a place to escape from our kids and celebrate his 50th bday. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay — great surfing and loads of whale sightings! We can’t wait to return with our kids next time!

Whales and beautiful Ocean!!

Such a sweet stay! If you want to see whales from you balcony or the beach and take long walks on the Pacific Ocean this place is perfect for you! Great communication with host. If I return to this area I would totally stay here again!

Such a good experience :)

It was great getting to know the area from such a prime location. Access to the beach and waves can’t get any better, almost literally, and this rental has everything you need for the exact stay you’re looking for. The host, Brian, was great. We will absolutely be coming back to Pescadero, and staying at Casa Amarilla

Wonderful beach house!

We loved watching the whales, the stars, the ocean, the surfers, the pelicans from the awesome balcony! So peaceful and quiet. We mountain bikes just down the road in Todas Santos…that was fun! Brian is a great host…we really enjoyed meeting him.

Casa Amarilla, a gem in southern Baja

My stay last year was so amazing, I decided right then and there I would return in ‘24 and I did just that. It was that much more amazing this year, I plan to return in ‘25. Brian Property manager) is awesome, the property simply beautiful and the location on the pacific amazing! Surf, sand, sunsets, at the end of the road off the beaten path!

Casa Amarillo upper level

Our stay at Casa Amarillo was wonderful! My husband and I celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary. We rented the upper level and everything was as advertised. The views and location are breathtaking. We even spotted whales from our balcony! The sound of the ocean permeates throughout the whole place. The property is laid out with a lower level and back studio also for rent. The owner was present in the lower level, but kept to himself unless we needed something. There were beach chairs and umbrellas available for use. There is a small store with snacks, beverages and a coffee cart down the dirt road about a third of a mile away. Although, the place is equipped with a kitchen we ate at our favorite place, Hierbabuena. It is a mile away. We rented a car and enjoyed visiting Cerritos beach to surf, although there is a point break just a short walk down the beach at San Pedritos. Todos Santos is about 15 - 20 min drive north. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning! I highly recommend staying in Casa Amarillo.

Beautiful Home

This upstairs duplex at the end of a long dirt road had an incredible view. The front garden was filled with tropical flowers and birds. The bathroom and kitchen were covered in lovely Mexican tiles. Our only issue was that, since we visited in the summer, it was quite hot and there is no A/C so it was necessary to leave all of the windows and screen doors open all day which resulted in a fair amount of salty sea breeze getting in and leaving a residue on the floor and countertops and furniture. We simply covered the furniture with the ample supply of sheets/bedding that Brian had supplied, kept our sandals on and wiped down the countertops before using them but it was a continuous battle with the elements. (Side note - I am a certified clean freak so this might not bother everyone) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend visiting.

Quiet beachfront getaway

We rented the upstairs suite. It was clean, cozy, with spectacular views of the ocean and sunset! The property included everything you need as well as beach chairs and umbrellas. The landscaping was beautiful done with lots of plants and vibrant flowers. The beach is quiet without a lot of tourists. Looking forward to visiting again next year! Brian is a great host!!

This place is the meaning of tranquil!

Brian the owner lives on the property and he is a sweet guy that is invisible until you need him and he is very responsive. The sand/dirt road from the hwy out to the house adds to the cool and “get away” atmosphere of this beach home. The house is on the sand and the whale watching was off the charts.

Great location, easy all around

Brian has an amazing location right on San Pedrito beach. The front balcony (we stayed upstairs) alone is worth the price for sunset beers, relaxing while watching whales, surfers, and waves, and generally feeling right on the ocean. The upstairs apartment was clean and functional for our group of four guys, though we were flexible on sleeping arrangements with one of us sleeping out on the balcony. All in all, we knew the area already and so knew what the vibe and setup would be, and we were not disappointed. Brian was available to help but otherwise let us enjoy the place. We had an awesome 8 days.

Perfect getaway

The location of this property is right on the beach, just down from the main surf break in San Pedrito. The sunrises and sunsets both are spectacular. The moment you walk into your living area, every window showcases the ocean - it’s absolutely stunning. Sitting outside, listening to the waves break against the sand bank was incredibly relaxing, and there’s a nice outside setup so you can relax. Brian is super friendly and was an incredible host.
