About this property
Once crowds subside, Pelee Migration comes alive!
The Northern Lights may be a much more common occurrence. No place better to observe than the western side of Pelee Island!
Welcome to the sun dappled deck of Dockside B in the hub that is the West Shore of Pelee Island. Close enough to walk for a snack at Pelee Coneheads, an afternoon Caesar at Westview Tavern or a craft beer at the Stone House 1891. A quick bike ride will get you to the Pelee Island Heritage Museum rich with the history of the early settlers or spend an afternoon singing along and dancing to the live music offered on most weekends at the outdoor Pavilion at Canada's largest private estate winery, aptly named the Pelee Island Winery . Dockside B is conveniently nestled in the midst of it all.
The accommodations offers a sunlit filled living space with 2 bedrooms, open concept full sized kitchen with a massive dining table. The deck and front yard fire pit afford a view of the "Key West like" sunsets or "dark night" atmosphere for star gazing. So please come for the ice cream but stay for the sunsets and the Big Dipper!

My husband and I stayed in this Cottage from August 2-4th, 2025. We loved our first time stay on Pelee Island! The Cottage was so clean and welcoming! It was so close to everything near the Ferry Port. Dawn’s communication about the Cottage and location was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!
This was the perfect place to stay on the island, as far as we were concerned. The view of the sunsets from inside the spacious living area through the patio doors was magnificent! The deck area just outside the doors was a wonderful place to have an evening meal or have a drink while looking out at the lake!
This is the perfect property for a stay. It is so close to the ferry and restaurants. The property has an amazing deck to sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning and your wine watching the sunset at night. It is very clean; Dawn is an amazing hostess who will help you with anything.
The accommodations were clean and very nice. The view from the front deck was absolutely amazing! Dawn was very nice and helpful! We would definitely consider staying here again if we came to Pelee Island! This is walking distance from the ferry.
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Communication from the host was prompt and helpful throughout, making the whole process smooth and easy. The cottage looked exactly like the photos - clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary cutlery, pots, and other basic essentials, which made cooking a breeze. The location is perfect- approximately a 5 minute walk to the Ferry terminal and close to the bike rentals and Heritage Centre. We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the property - it was a highlight of our stay. We also truly appreciated the flexibility with the extended check-out time, which made our departure more relaxed. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would happily recommend!
Really enjoyed our stay! Nicely decorated, clean, spacious and charming cottage with amazing hosts.
Thank you, we enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!
This was my sisters and I second year at dockside and it was perfect. The cottage was great, the weather was perfect, looking forward to going back next year.
We had an absolutely perfect weekend getaway at this charming cottage on Pelee Island! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Whether you're sipping coffee on the deck, enjoying a glass of wine at sunset, or stargazing under the clear island skies, every moment feels magical. The location is unbeatable—peaceful, private, and just a short distance from the dock. We especially loved the natural surroundings and how quiet the island was; it felt like our own little slice of paradise. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive. If you're looking for a relaxing, off-the-grid escape with a touch of rustic charm and tons of heart, this is the place. We’re already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to unwind and truly disconnect.
The cottage was amazing with a spectacular view, and it had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend away! Dawn is a fantastic host! We will definitely stay again! Thank you so much!
We had a wonderful stay in this adorable cottage. The view was amazing and the cottage was super comfortable, very clean and well stocked. We saw 4 bald eagles that hung out above us for our entire stay. Easy to walk to the ferry, restaurants and the winery. Great communication by Dawn also. We would book here again for sure next time we visit the island.
We had a great time! We had fun beach combing, swimming, fishing and relaxing! We loved waking up and enjoying coffee on the deck right on the water! Our host made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Will be booking again!
We travelled to Pelee with four moms, 10 children, and one granny, so I booked both cottages for our stay. I really loved every second of being here. First of all, I loved the stunning view from the cottage and its pretty excellent location. I was not able to find any other cottage with a better view than Dawn's from my bike trip riding around the neighbourhood. We are travelling bunch of kids, but space was so much more than enough for playing, sleeping, outdoor activities etc. I would highly recommend this lovely place if you plan to visit with little kiddos. The kitchen is not that much modern & renovated though, but I had zero uncomfortable moments to use it all through the stay. But the other kitchen (Cottage A’s where my friends stayed) was pretty new & clean. I also loved the washroom of cottage B which was newly renovated. Hopefully, we could come back later again!
We really enjoyed our stay on Pelee Island. The place is in the perfect location and has plenty of room and beds. The deck in front was wonderful. Unfortunately the weather didn’t make it fun to sit outside but the view from inside was amazing.
