Ideal for adventure enthusiasts, outdoor lovers, and those looking to reconnect with nature, the outdoor recreation opportunities here are abundant! As the sunrise meets the lake in the morning, get out on the provided canoe or kayaks for a serene glide. Afternoons can be spent in the hammock, in the sauna, and around a board game. And in the evenings, the grill and firepit are paired perfectly for a sweet summer barbecue followed by s'mores.

If you'd like to explore the area more, check out the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, Billings Farm & Museum, and Woodstock Town Hall Theatre. Saskadena Six, one of North America's oldest ski resorts, is only 11 miles away, while Killington, the largest ski resort in the eastern United States, is 25 miles from your vacation home and boasts the widest variety of terrain for skiers to tackle. For added fun, the Nordic Center at Woodstock is 12 miles away and offers 45km of groomed trails for skate and classic cross-country skiing. Snowshoeing and fat bike riding are also available on the trails.

Walking inside your retreat, you will instantly take notice of the continued lake views. During the colder months, don't be surprised if you spot indigenous fowl searching for food as you appreciate the incredible vista. The living area is adorned with ample soft seating, an electric fireplace, and a large TV - making this space perfect for gatherings and family movie nights. The gleaming kitchen is any chef's dream, with stainless steel appliances, shining countertops, and a center island. Enjoy afternoon snacks at the breakfast bar and gather for family-style meals at the lake-view dining table. Coffee lovers will enjoy the sunroom for their ritual morning cups of coffee.

You will find carefully curated pockets of peace in each bedroom. Lovingly decorated with homey fixtures, soft linens, and calming color palettes, your family will be content and comfortable. Enjoy soaking in the grand clawfoot tub after a day in the sun.

The kids will love the additional TV room with its bean bags, keyboard, chess set, and continued lake views. Multiple work desks in this home make it easy to work remotely when necessary, and the private washer/dryer ensures that chore time is the least of your concerns.

Beautiful location
Beautiful Location and super clean house! We loved being right on the lake and loved the views at sunrise and sunset, especially. Close to Woodstock and the little market right down the street on the corner is perfect for grabbing last minute items or ingredients for a quick dinner. Only issue was the king bed was actually two twin beds pushed together ( that wasn’t very securely put together.) Fun little game room with keyboard and great Wi-Fi.

Wonderful Lake House
This is a beautiful home, situated on one of our favorite Vermont lakes. We really appreciated having use of the canoe and kayaks. The views are spectacular. The home was well-appointed and everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning next time we're out this way--we have family in the area. We noted the other review about the unconventional placement of the beds in a couple of the rooms and noticed that too. It wasn't a big issue for us. This is a fairly new rental--I'm sure they're still working a few things out. We highly recommend this property.

Silver Lake Vermont
Lovely waterfront property on beautiful Silver Lake. Recently built house. Greatly enjoyed the kayaks and canoe. Very friendly, helpful neighbors and local manager. First floor queen bed has to be moved away from side wall to allow access to both sides of bed. Then a bed post hits the ceiling fan. Enjoyed our four week stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely Lake House
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was just as advertised and Silver Lake was absolutely gorgeous. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped, except there was no regular coffee maker. I think we may have been one of the first families to rent this property. I would recommend a dresser in each room because there was no place to put clothes. Also, more side tables and lamps for reading. We loved the sauna and enjoyed taking the canoe around the lake. We met some neighbors, and all were welcoming and friendly. All in all we were very pleased and would recommend this home very highly.
