Guest Favorite! 1BR/1BA Romantic with Hot Tub & Fire Pit

This is what many consider to be the peaceful side of the Red River Gorge. Located near the Indian Creek Resort area. The view from the hot tub is absolutely beautiful and it is an unobstructed view of trees and the valley. The hot tub sits on a covered 500 square foot deck that is enclosed with a railing, privacy curtains and pet friendly gate. Very scenic area. Guests love this quiet escape where they can get away from it all. Close to the cabin are long beautiful gravel roads for walks.

All areas of the Gorge have the possibility of forest animals such as raccoons, snakes and bears. Hike and explore at your own risk.

You must be 21 years of age to rent the cabin.

No smoking/vaping or drugs in the cabin. Smoking outside is permitted.

No firearms or fireworks permitted.

No loud house parties. You may be evicted and/or charge additional fees if you create a disturbance that requires security or law enforcement intervention.

Cabin contains a hot tub on back deck. Please comply with posted safety sign.

Dog friendly - 2 maximum (No cats) One-time nonrefundable $100 pet fee per stay.

Our stay was amazing. The cabin was so cute. I loved the heated bathroom for showering. That was a fun surprise. The view was spectacular. I loved reading on the deck each morning.

Wonderful Stay

I really enjoyed staying at the cabin! It felt very private even with other properties around. The hosts communicated very well regarding checking in and checking out. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view from the back porch. We would definitely stay again!

My finance and I had a great time staying here! The cabin was easy to access and our host was communicative and made sure the whole check in/check out process was as easy as can be. This is a great place for two people to get away for a bit.

Nice little cabin

The hosts thought of all the little things to make for a nice stay. If you’re looking for seclusion this is a great place to stay. Takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get to the gorge activities so prepare for that.

Absolutely loved this place! Holly was way to reach with any issues that we had or with getting to the property. Very quiet area. We were lucky enough to have had beautiful weather for hiking and stargazing. Wonderful place to unplug :)

Little, red, and beautiful

Wonderful little cabin, a cozy place to get away. Very clean, the kitchen has everything we needed, comfortable bed, and the hot tub comes with a great view. The porch on the back really makes the cabin feel twice its size. Our host sent helpful info ahead of time on places to eat and things to see.

Rainy getaway

We enjoyed our little getaway together. Very relaxing and peaceful! We weren’t able to explore as much as we wanted to due to the rain/flooding. The cabin was super cozy and cute! Enjoyed the little trail that was walking distance from our cabin. Also enjoyed Broke Leg Falls. We even had a picnic lunch at the falls. This area of Kentucky is absolutely beautiful! Would recommend this place to anyone who might be staying in the area.

Seclusion

Property was just as pictured. Quality cookware and kitchen was a nice touch. We are used to king bed but this queen was very comfy! Always thrilled to find decent property that will allow our dog. So many lovely personal touches. We went hiking most days. Beautiful drives to/from. Great area.

I am adventurous and love to research local areas. I can get your "go to" for special weekend plans. We want "Lil Red" to be a special get away that you long to return to when you plan a weekend get away or long-term stay.

Why they chose this property

As frequent travelers to Red River Gorge know, the Indian Creek Resort area is highly sought after and known as a place for relaxation and beautiful views. It's close enough to the Gorge to make the trip easy, but just the right distance for peace and quiet in the morning and evening.

What makes this property unique

We chose Lil Red because it is one of those places that has a great cozy feel and amazing hot tub on the oversized 500-sf/ft covered porch. There are two sliding glass doors, one from the bedroom and one from the kitchen. The fire pit is brand-new and has two Adirondack chairs to enjoy the fire and roast marshmallows. When guests stay who have a background in construction, they are always amazed at how well the cabin is built. It was built with simplicity and ease in mind. If you're looking for a quiet cabin to get away from it all, and reconnect with each other and nature, Lil' Red stands out above others in the area.
