My family spent 5 nights at this beautiful property. The property is about 30 minutes from the airport but it is an easy drive to most anywhere you want to visit. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home but yet never felt like we had anyone around. We visit the island often but this was the best stay yet. Looking forward to our return in the summer!
Perfect way to escape the cold and snow. We were in our own little oasis away from everyone and enjoyed the calmness of the water. We put the kayaks to use to explore low tide. Nicole was amazing and was able to guide us to some great place to explore and eat.

It was truly a pleasure having you and your guests stay at Ole Ike Bay. We since added a lovely couple to the experience along with Nicole, and can not wait to add another level of pampering for you and your guests during your next stay at Ole Ike Bay.
Have a very blessed holiday season.
My overall impression of the property was you can tell how well cared-for it is. Easily the most impressive home overlooking the cays, the home was welcoming, had all the amenities we needed and more. Special shout-out to Ian for answering our questions, Lamont for giving us solid advice/assisting the family and Maureen for keeping everything tidy day in and day out. We can’t wait to stay again!

Words can’t describe how beautiful this place is!! From communications and all the help from owner to the property manager Creighton they really make you feel like family. The house is amazing but the views are the real showcase with this property!! Close to town and local restaurants. BLU, Rusty Anchor, and Exuma Yacht Club are definitely great choices for dinner. Already planning out next trip back!

Hi Stephen,
It was a pleasure to host you and your family, and we are looking forward to hosting you again at your new home (Ole Ike Bay - Exuma Bahamas).
All the very best!

The position of this house is spectacular. No near neighbors and a short swim or kayak to protected Man o War Cay. Wrap around porches and a steady gentle breeze meant no bugs. We slept with the windows wide open. Everything is immaculate. We rented a boat and used the excellent dock lamon and Marie made us feel very welcome and cared for. Will come back!

The team would like for you to know that it was an absolute pleasure to host you and your lovely family. We look forward to pampering you again during your next stay with us 😊.
We could not have asked for a better experience. Ian and his team were amazing. We especially loved Nicole and all she did for us. The house was perfect for our needs, we loved the layout for our two families. It had everything we could ask for. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were very comfortable, views from each room were amazing. We felt like we were living in a postcard. Thank you! We hope to return in the future!
To try to describe this property would be to fail. The beauty must be seen to be believed!! Lamon and a great young man who is always there to help if need. Stop wondering if this is the right place to book…. Book it! You will not regret

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your experience with us, and look forward to seeing you again soon.
We had the most lovely stay at Ole Ike Bay, making family memories in a tropical paradise. The house was very well appointed with luxury towels, toiletries, and state of the art smart technology. Ian and his staff were attentive and accommodating without being obtrusive which enabled the family to truly enjoy our entire stay without the hassles of normal life. They also helped us experience and learn about Bahamian lifestyle. The views were amazing and we enjoyed snorkeling around the house, kayaking to the uninhabited island across the water, and lounging on a private white sand beach with crystal clear blue Bahamian waters. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We can't wait to return.

Hi Ashley,
You were a fantastic guest and we loved hosting you and your family.
I am so pleased that you got to experience the natural beauty of the people and the environment of Exuma.
We look forward to seeing you and your guests in the very near future.
All the very best!
From booking to our actual stay, it was simply perfect and easy. Ian was super accommodating and fast to respond to any question I asked. As for the property, it was beyond what words can describe. The hardest question each day was whether we were going to fish first or kayak. There is no one around, so you have the beach all to yourself. Just kayak over and then walk over the dunes and you are in an oasis like nothing I've ever seen before. The views from this house is impeccable and the house is super spacious. Seeing the sunrise straight from your bed is a bonus as well! This place is truly a hidden gem and when we go back, we will definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your kind words and we look forward to spoiling you again in the very near future.
Ole Ike Bay provided an incredible stay for my family. Located in the quaint settlement of Rolletown, it offers a unique vacation experience away from typical tourist destinations. The property is a beautifully designed three-story home, situated on a private hill with stunning surroundings including a natural pond and farmland. The highlight is the private beach and dock, where guests can enjoy crystal clear waters and explore the islands using a rental boat. The interior of the home is tastefully designed, with a main floor bedroom suite for a helper, complete with luxurious amenities. Upstairs, there are two king rooms for the family or friends, a room with twin beds for the children, and a common space with ocean views. The kitchen and dining area overlook the ocean, and there are decks on both floors for breathtaking sightseeing. We enjoyed shopping at the local market, including fresh bread, meat from the local meat market, and fishing for fresh fish. For those unfamiliar with boating or fishing, there is a contact available to captain the boat and show the area's best fishing spots. A nearby restaurant called Blu offers five-star quality food. Our children loved the resident nurse shark named Carl, and the abundance of sea life, white sandy beaches, turtles, and starfish. Ole Ike Bay is highly recommended for families or groups of friends seeking an escape from civilization and a chance to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature. We look forward to returning!!

About the host
Hosted by Ian Rolle
My Grandfather was affectionately known as Ole Ike. He used this land to grow crops and to raise animal stock. Ole Ike attended University at age 50 and was a community leader, entrepreneur, teacher and preacher.
My father (John Rolle- now deceased) chose this property to build his retirement house on because he remembered how beautiful and unique this property was when he attended to the farm animals and plants as a little boy. My dad named this property Ole Ike Bay in honour of my grand father.
My sister and I intend to honour our grand father and father by improving upon what was bequeathed to us by our father. The vision for this property has just began.
Why they chose this property
This property was first chosen by my grand father who was a Tuskegee educated farmer in plants and livestock. He found the only property in this area with a fresh water pond to sustain his animals and crops, a private beach, a peninsula and a high ridge where he could relax in the heat of the day and enjoy the ocean breeze.
What makes this property unique
This property is the only lot in this area with a fresh water pond, private beach, private dock, that is located on a high ridge that seems to attract the cool ocean breeze, and has the most amazing view in the Moriah Harbour National Marine Park.
Turtles also live in front of the house on the ocean side and you can see the occasional bottle nose dolphins pass by.
The marine life around the dock area gives this property its own private aquarium teaming with fish.
