Perfect cabin for everything we wanted to do!

We stayed at Coyote Cabin for my friend’s birthday near the state park to go hiking and bird watching. This was the perfect cabin for everything we wanted to do! 5 minutes from most trailheads, lots of birds and wildlife, peaceful evenings with all of our favorite comforts. If we come back to DeSoto State Park, we hope to stay here again.

A great family getaway!

We visited Coyote Cabin for a quick fall break with our 3 young boys and golden retriever. Everyone had the best time! The boys got up early and played on the hammock outside and with their toy trucks. We visited DeSoto Falls, Citadel Boulder Preserve, and Little River Canyon. One of the boys asked if we could live there forever! Haha! We would love to make this at least an annual trip!

Wonderful 4th of July Weekend!

My wife, our dog, and I had a wonderful weekend at Coyote Cabin. It was convenient to find, located far enough away from a developed area to be peaceful, but not so far you couldn't easily go get dinner. Wonderfully appointed and the gate on the porch made our dog ask to practically live out there for the majority of our stay. We highly recommend spending time here.
