About this property

Modern and family friendly house in Reykjavik

Our house is located in one of Reykjavik suburbs, only 11 km away from Reykjavik city center / church Hallgrimskirkja . Bus stops only few meters away from our house and takes you downtown. We are also close to the route one that takes you to the main attractions in Iceland, the Golden Circle, Drive to Vik etc.

Our neighbourhood is quiet and very family friendly, local swimming pool is close by, nice walking/running paths in the Icelandic Nature in Elliðaárdalur, Heiðmörk and around lake Rauðavatn. Árbæjarsafn open air museum is also close by.
If you are into Golfing then this is the right place ! Golf Club GR is in walking distance from our house, it's one of the best golf courses in Reykjavik, they have big practice area also called Básar.

Our house is on one floor, we have two bathrooms, one with toilet and shower and the other with toilet, 4 bedrooms, the Master bedroom with Queen size bed ( 165x200cm ), then the other three bedrooms have single beds ( 90x200 cm ) Then we can add extra single bed if needed. Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. We have BBQ grill outside in our garden.
Outside big wooden patio we have new hot tub ( not jazzuci ). BBQ Grill, nice outdoor seating area and trampoline for the kids.

We have baby crib and high chair for your children.

We provide linen, towels and soap etc

We manage over 85 properties here in Iceland, most of them in the Reykjavik area and also outside of Reykjavik.  Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik.  We also offer long term renting.

Comfortable and convenient home away from home

This was our first trip to Iceland. This house was the perfect place to stay, as we had a rental car (all cars are stick shift btw so be prepared!) . There was plenty of space, wonderful appliances to use if we needed them, pleasant geothermal heating and heated water, a lovely deck and a hot tub, and walking trails nearby. The property manager gave us some very helpful tips, especially about finding local swimming/hot pot/sauna options. Very comfortable. Highly recommended!
