About this property
Northwoods Oasis close to Duluth - BOULDBERBELLE RETREAT
Welcome to Boulderbelle Retreat!
This northern oasis is located 10 minutes from Duluth and sits on 4.6 acres of wooded peacefulness. It provides the feeling of being away from it all while being close to everything. Enjoy your serene drive down the 3/4 mile private dead-end gravel road with very little traffic.
This 1800 sq ft year-round home combines the Up North cabin experience with all the comforts of home. This fully furnished refuge is on a heated slab with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a spacious open concept for the main living area. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, relax on the patio, and don't forget to take in the fresh country air surrounded by the peaceful and scenic beauty of northern Minnesota. During Summer months, enjoy the beautiful flowers scattered throughout the landscape or gather around the fire pit and roast s'mores under the starry sky. In the fall enjoy wild berry picking, apples, or gaze at the vibrant fall colors. In the winter months, take advantage of nearby snowmobile trails, skiing/snowboarding attractions, and ice fishing close by. There are many 4-wheeler and snowmobile trails nearby if you choose to bring them along. If making maple syrup interests you, plan your trip in the spring when the trees begin to flow and learn what it takes to make maple syrup.
This home also features birch vaulted ceiling with hickory kitchen cabinets with handicap accessible hallways and 36-inch doorways. This house has all the comforts of a home with an air exchanger, in-line water heaters, wood boiler, and is on a private well and septic system.
Enjoy the wildlife of northern Minnesota as you are likely to see deer, wild turkeys, owls, hummingbirds, and a variety of songbirds that will fill the woods with tranquil music as you sip your coffee on the back patio. If you’re lucky enough, you may see the occasional bear pass through or hear the local wolves or coyotes howl in the distance.
