Positives and negatives. The house was close to our meeting facility. However, it is located on a very busy road. So, if traffic noise is an issue with you, you will not be happy there. Also, two smoke detectors were in a drawer in the kitchen. When brought to the attention of the host, nothing was done to re-install them.Trash wasn't picked up and the host suggested that I call the municipality. I told him that was his job. He told me that they would pick it up, maybe running late. After several day, we checked out and the trash was still not collected. The dishwasher foamed greatly after the wash cycle. I reported it, and after no progress cleaned the machine myself. We will not consider this house next year when we visit the area again.

Our stay here was great, We enjoined are stay at this large beautiful house. Great location, a lot of good restaurants and close shopping, Back yard was fenced in which was great for our small dog. Very quite.
I was doing a job in Fort Myers and it made more financial sense to stay in a house versus hotel rooms for me and my crew. This was a great stay great house. Nice neighborhood.
House was as pictured. Easy check in. Location was great for what we needed. Nice layout. On first walking in the house is nice. However, it seems as though nothing has been maintained since it was built. Loose shower handles, holes in the bathroom wall where the towel bar must've fallen off and never patched. Front door hard to close. Could use a coat of paint on a lot of the walls. The coffee machine didn't work and when we contacted the owner, we were told we would have to descale it, which would've meant we would have to go buy vinegar and try to clean it. We were under a tight schedule and felt the owner should've promptly taken care of it. So no coffee. Other: Ants were everywhere. The master suite didn't get as much a/c so was pretty warm. The living room furniture was not very comfortable and we have to use some patio furniture for more seating. The kitchen lacked many things needed, such as bowls, cooking and baking dishes. Knives were broken and dull.Loose patio tile.If it was just any one thing, no problem. But the reason for the 3 stars was added together, a little frustrating.I am a vacation owner so I pay attention to the things my guests are looking for. Hopefully this will help the owner.
Very clean and plenty of room to accommodate our party of 6 easily. Only has just enough towels and wash clothes to accommodate the 6, so needed to wash when we wanted fresh towels (laundry supplies provided). Breaker tripped on washer when we were all up and about during the day, so that was a little annoying. Also saw camera with floodlights on the front side of the house, but lights never came on. Would have liked to have front porch light on at night. Otherwise, fabulous stay. Great house and great host to communicate with.
It was a beautiful property and I would have rated it much higher except for the communication with the host. At 1:15 am the smoke alarm went off and started loudly saying "FIRE, FIRE". It then started chirping and continued to chirp all night. I was wearing ear plugs and was able to sleep through the chirping, but my husband was up all night. At 8 am, we left a voicemail for the host, texted him, and left him a message. There was no reply from him until a couple hours later when I got a standard message asking us how our first night went. My husband was not able to reach the smoke detector to remove it, even standing on a chair. Luckily, our friends who were staying at their parents' condo nearby brought us a ladder so we were able to disable it. At that point, I emailed the host again to say the problem was taken care of. Since we had our dog with us and were going to be leaving him when we went out, we didn't want someone coming over when we weren't there. The only response I received was "thank you". No apologies for the inconvenience it caused. If our friends had not brought over the ladder, it would have continued chirping and we wouldn't have been able to stay there. My poor husband was exhausted the next day since he had been up all night. We were only staying 2 nights to see our friends who were in town, so it really put a damper on our short visit. It's unfortunate because it was a nice home and backyard. It really is important to have a responsive host.
