Overall clean and well maintained, there were a couple of minor issues but nothing that interfered with our stay. We enjoyed it and will do it again.
The house was great. Nice open floor plan made it easy to hang out. It was 98 degrees while we were there and the house was cool and the trees and shaded backyard was still comfortable to enjoy. We had a couple families with middle school aged kids and it was a solid spot for our group. The yard kept the kids busy and there was a nice room downstairs with big wrap around couch and table where they could get their video games in. We cooked a lot- the kitchen is solid, nice island for prep and big fridge.
We had a comfortable stay. The house was the perfect size for our family. We enjoyed the back deck and back yard the most. The yard toys are aged, worn and broken, so we only played with the corn hole, but had a blast. We also enjoyed the fire pit each night, talking story and watching fireflies. The laundry appliances are new and efficient, which was a huge factor in our comfort. Our visiting grandkids enjoyed the inside toys and TV room.
Great place! Lot's of space, sparkling clean, designed for guests to enjoy the property! The hosts are great at communication and quick to answer questions. Great location, easy to get around town. Hope to return again!

The host, amenities, and layout of the house were great. We loved the fire pit and the house had everything we could possibly need for a family of 4 adults and 4 kids. Would definitely stay here again!

Concerns About Privacy and NeighborsThe host was wonderful—quick, friendly communication, a well-stocked house, and comfortable beds.Within 24 hours of arriving, we noticed that the house next door seemed to have a different living arrangement than a typical residential home. A quick search revealed that the property was owned by a nonprofit and operated as transitional housing for formerly incarcerated men.We specifically chose this home for its large backyard, reviews describing it as great for families with young children, and beautiful sliding glass doors overlooking the yard. Unfortunately, these features became drawbacks once we learned about the home next door.Someone was in the neighboring backyard much of the time we were home, with a direct view into our kitchen and dining room. With no curtains or blinds on the large glass doors, we had little privacy. We also stopped letting our three young children play in the backyard. To be clear, nothing threatening happened, and we had no direct issues with the neighbors. However, the situation made us uncomfortable for the remainder of our stay and significantly limited our enjoyment of the property.Had we known about the neighboring transitional housing before booking, we would have chosen another home. I believe this is important information for other families to have when considering this property.
The house is excellent and located in a very desirable area. The beds are comfortable, and the backyard is well maintained and ideal for dogs to enjoy outdoor time. The hosts were courteous, friendly, and highly accommodating, consistently responding promptly to any questions or concerns. We highly recommend this property and will certainly return again.
I love the space in this property! Lots of room for a big family to eat, sleep, play games, and relax. I also loved how stocked the rental was—extra supplies for everything in the bathrooms and kitchen.
We stayed here for 3 nights with 6 guests and it was great! The house is clean, had plenty of kitchen supplies (spices, coffee, dishes, silverware), and is comfortably laid out.We didn't do a ton of local exploring, but it seems like a good location to get to activities, and it was just 20ish minutes from the RDU airport.
