About the host
Hosted by Rhonda and Ryan
Ryan and I live in a small town 31 miles from our vacation home. We both work full time in State College as a DOC Principal and Mohs Surgery Nurse. We enjoy boating, camping, renovating the vacation home and spending time with family and friends. And of coarse, spending time at the Lake House! I have always had a passion to become a host for many years in the area that I grew up visiting with my Dad. After many years of daily Zillow and Realtor.com searching, we finally found a property that worked for us. Our plan is to live in this area in the future.
Why they chose this property
We chose this area due to how close it was to the lake and Marina. What we loved initially when we viewed the property was the privacy, serenity, and outdoor amenities that were already established. We loved the space of the property, the abundance and ease of camper and boat parking as well as seeing wildlife right out the window! Pavilion, fire pit, and 2 spacious decks was also a plus! Summertime is our favorite and we enjoy being outdoors. There are only a few neighbors afar and both are fantastic.
What makes this property unique
We think this property stands out not only because of the location and outdoor amenities, but also because of the cleanliness. My sister Kim (whom is our co host), myself and Ryan provide the cleaning and maintenance between guests. We have been in many AIRBNBS and VRBOS that were definitely not very well maintained and we want to welcome our guests with a home how we would expect.
We also have a super stocked kitchen and pretty much everything you would need for a short term stay which provides our guests less packing or grocery shopping.
