We really enjoyed this hidden gem tucked away in the back, beautiful views of the small lake (sunsets were amazing) and can even see the ocean at a certain angle. The place is beautiful outside and inside, carries a Hawaiian theme decor inside the rooms. The place is spacious; the high ceilings make it feel much larger than it really is but yet you feel very comfortable and relaxed. The host have gone to great links to ensure that you have all of the amenities of home and then some. When we did have a question or needed something the host responded immediately. We found the place to be very clean and well taken care of.We highly recommend this place!

Everything about this place was perfect! I was born and raised in the area and know what a value this place is. The hosts go above and beyond and we had a spectacular family trip. We will definitely stay here again...and again.

The place is wonderfully updated, comfortable and clean. I would have appreciated being warned about close it is to the freeway and the subsequent noise but other than that, it was lovely. Views are great.

This property was conveniently located. Heather was very friendly and recommended good restaurants and fun things to do, which we really appreciated. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of this place. They had a really nice full sized washer and dryer set. The back patio with views of the sunset, gorgeous landscaping and lagoon below were icing on the cake. We would definitely stay at this lovely property again.

First time renting a VRBO and the owners made the process very easy. The property was as described with the easy walk to the village/ Carlsbad beaches, we wound up walking back and forth everyday of our stay. Only wish I had from the kids was for a couple of e-bikes, but otherwise I would and hopefully will stay again soon!

Great Location

This is a great location and very clean and well appointed property. The location was great for our small family trip to Legoland and Sea World. We also enjoyed the dinning in Carlsbad Village. This is a great property for the value it provided.
